I've been thinking about it and they probably will be upgradable, they wouldn't have nerfed Blackhammer if they were gonna leave it behind..

They nerfed it because it had a chance of unlimited ammo like the icebreaker and was still more deadly and useful than the year 2 ones they've made. Thats why it was nerfed. Same with the gally.

Nah dude, if you can't upgrade Blackhammer unlimited rounds won't matter if it doesn't do damage.

Ya, but if the new light level is 59 as it's been rumored a 365 weapon will be pretty useless even with that perk.

The new weapons wont be much more powerful.look at vogs and crota weapons. Most of vogs were still better at 300.

If you try using a 300 gun on 35 Skolas, the damage reduction will show. We're going to have about a 20 level gap supposedly which will make weapons near useless for PvE.

Have they said 20 level higher? If thats true then fair point. I thought it was capping out at 40?

I don't know if they've confirmed anything yet, but some videos showed light level 50. It would make sense to have another ten actual xp levels with the new subclass.
