I hope they implement a limit system for upgrading legendary year 1 weapons and gear along. Bring all your old stuff with you but on allow 2 of each type of weapon and 2 of each type of armor to be upgraded to year 2 max or something like that. Give me another reason to play new content. Exotics should all be brought along but upgrading should come with a heavy price (15k glimmer and a few shards or stat reset or something). It should not be easy to upgrade them. Earn the right to carry the 400-plus-or-whatever damage weapon you want or just use them at 365. Honestly, the first damage increase probably wont effect anything except trials. PvE is easy now with 331 weapons that are not ascended and PvP is level-balanced for everything except trials. #bringthehate
