There is no way to get free Platinum. The only way is to trade or sell mods/prime parts in the trade chat. The only thing close to getting free Platinum is hoping your daily login reward gives you a Platinum sale. Such as 25, 50, and even 75% off Platinum. Currently I am not in need of buying items. Sorry. The only thing that can be traded are Mods, Prime parts, special weapons (Syndicate weapons), Void Keys, Kubrow imprints, alternate helmets for Warframes, and Platinum. Your mastery rank number is the number of times you can trade. Hope this cleared some stuff up.
