When do we get class balancing?

So we are getting weapon balancing for good or ill. When are they going to fix the classes? I play all 3 classes but main a Titan. Here are a few Titan examples. Melee reach. Titans have tiny T-Rex arms in comparison. To compensate, increase melee attack speed for Titans. They still have to get in closer but can attack faster. Melee damage. Titans shouldn't lose boxing matches with the other classes. They are the melee class. Increase striker melee base damage. A class called "striker" should do the most melee damage of any class. For defenders have their overshield activate on melee attack, not kill (like warlock). Fix catapult jump perk so it works better. For Titan bubble, it should do damage to enemies inside. It should have a minor offensive use other than with helm of st14. Titans should have better armor in crucible. They should be slightly harder to kill. They are currently outclassed by warlocks with the ram.

  • Catapult needs to be fixed and warlocks too tanky. Rest is as should be. Defiantly no shield on hit. That overshield is super powerful with the right set up. Melee is apples and oranges. Bubble shouldn't cause damage that'd make it have no drawbacks.

  • I main a Titan but don't even speak of class balancing. No need to give them a reason to nerf every class. Look at how the weapons are going to be balanced.

  • Titans, Warlocks, and Hunters all nerfs. Supers are too powerful. Self res? Wtf? Golden gun arc blade? Titan smash???!!! What is this? A competitive multiplayer? Nooooooo! Its Nerfcropolous. Nothing stronger than a piece of cheap foam is allowed.

If you sprint and suddenly go backwards while melee-ing, then that increses the range. Titans have to punch so it would make sense for us to have a shorter range. And besides, its barely noticeable. They are the melee class.[/quote] I sont lose boxing matches because of my increase in melee attack speed. Also use the ACDC Feedback fences and you are guarenteed to win one. You talk about balance yet you want it to do more damage, range and speed? And 'striker' doesnt only mean the strongest, it can be the fastest. We can also stack Force Barrier with Armour of Light, creating an undestructable shield. Warlock have to spec into a mod in their melee abilities to have the shield in the first place. So what? Force Barrier and AoL is amazing. Unstoppable perk makes us basically immune to damage. We can survive more hits in certain situations. Again you talk about balancing yet what you are suggesting is the opposite. You want Titans to be Overpowered because youblost a few fist fights.

  • Classes are balanced. If you look melee to melee they aren't but that's the wrong way to look at it. You look at the entire class compared to the entire class. Short reach melee? Unstoppable melee, deadly grenades, near unstoppable super. There's faults in each class, compensated by the other perks they already have

    Each classes have their own strengths and weaknesses. And I found a playstyle on each subclass that suits me, a mainly Titan player. Edit: Titans are not the melee class, Hunters are. Edit Edit: Ill come back later and have my opinion versus your opinion.

    • Titans melee reach is shoulder charge and its the strongest melee in the game. It doesn't need a buff. If you want to win every melee fight ever run feedback fences. If you want bubble damage run weapons of light. Titans are not out classed by the ram. Perigrine greaves one shot a warlock with the ram regardless of protection. In fact you one shot every super (except unstoppable titans) and the Titan can out tank the ram through unstoppable. You can't kill an unstoppable Titan. I agree though that at some point titans should get an exotic armor piece that gives them more armor. Oh and no. The shield on kill is for balance reasons. Your force barrier can be improved to last longer, take more damage, and recharge compared to flame shield.

        Titan melee needs to work on hit instead of kill. Its range needs a slight extension as well. It's useless based on kill right now. Catapult should be fixed and Titans do need more armor. They're supposed to be the "tanks" but the warlocks already do that.

      • The trick is adjusting your play style to the class, or choosing the class that suits your play style best. They aren't supposed to be [i]the same...[/i] They all have advantages and disadvantages.

        • I had similar thoughts but moreso about some of the useless/less used perks within the skill trees of the classes. I think it is time to rethink several of these or maybe even replace them all together with some more interesting perks. I fear that the appeal of the old classes will cease to exist when the new ones are released in TTk

          • The classes will not ever be balanced, they are meant to be different in how they play, not the same. there will always be an easier class and a harder class to play in both pvp and pve.
