Gjallarhorn doesn't have much use in the Skolas encounter. Why would nerfing it make any difference?

35 RepliesFirst of all. Skolas isn't all that hard. It requires teamwork , communication and patience. Second of all. Bungie hasn't touched the weapons yet , and the ghorn is just as powerful today as it was at launch. And finally third. You know the rewards ( at least the guaranteed ones ) before you even load into Skolas. (Guarantees) 1. Etheric light 2. Armor core 3. Weapon core (Chance of drops from Skolas) 1. Elder cipher 2. Elemental primary (Potential chest drops) 1. Queens weapons 2. Motes and coins 3. Exotic item 4. Treasure key 5. Ship 6. Shader 7. Emblem Now having said all of that I find it kind of sad that the majority of this community equates fun with result and rewards. Even worse I find it very disappointing that when players struggle with certain facets of this game they'll come rub to the forums , complain and try to get the activity dumbed down in their favor as opposed to just playing , practicing and getting better. We've beaten Skolas with first timers and people who were ill equipped but willing to listen and work as a team. I actually beat him multiple times on a friends account with a 277 fatebringer , 331 sword breaker and a 331 truth. Once again it's not that hard. And if the only reason you don't want to play it is because you don't like the prize in the box at the end then shame on you.
