WHAT?? Remove Blink from the GAME??? Another nerf
So amidst all the weapon chaos... I stumbled across something I haven't seen anyone talking about on the forums. And if it has been discussed or pointed out already... sorry.

When I read this... that REALLY, I MEAN... REALLY solidified the end of this game for me. The last patch notes did it... but this just puts the final nail on the coffin.
What this shows me... is Bungie can't leave their hands off this game... and the things that make it fun and different. They cater to the WHINERS WAYYYYYY too much. I'm sorry, but this quote proves they will continue to destroy this game piece by piece until all the little kids are happy. Who knows, maybe this is the market they want to cater to. it's a mistake. EVERY game that ever caters to children (after being released for mature players) ends up dying.
And before you say git gud scrub: I have a titan and 2 hunter classes. and am mostly a golden gun user... I do like blink when I use it yes... but my complaint has NOTHING to do with taking away a perk I use to help me win.
EDIT: Anyone who is saying "he doesn't want to remove blink"... You are missing the point. The fact that it's coming across his desk means IT"S A POSSIBILITY. And then combine that with the fact they are still going to nerf it in some way... and they just can't stop F'ing with this game in areas that don't need messing with. And guess what?? if he can't find a way to nerf it... he may not want to remove it... but he may just have to.

All they should do is change the fact that blinkers can get out of grenades and rockets. I point blanked two blinkers with rockets today and they didn't die. A grenade that seeks should not miss them either.

2 RepliesI feel like they should put a cool down timer to do anything except sprint. Example: after blink there should be a one second cool down to melee, throw grenades, jump, and shoot your weapon. Maybe not even a second. Just a quick pause where your disabled from your resources.

8 RepliesWhy don't they just give titans blink or an exotic which allows them too. Fair game then. Or maybe have a 2 second period after blink where you can't shoot, only for PvP. I agree, it's frustrating because I finally learned how to use blink without hitting ledges and walls.

So really tell me which is op? If you cry and complain about a hunter or warlock blinking away from you then maybe you should learn to fire faster, be more accurate, or my personal fav learn to predict their location... the last one will piss them off lmao. But for real people... every class has a crutch every class has an ability thats op . Its what sets each apart from the other . Deal with it and just have fun playing. Bungie needs to learn they can't make everyone happy and they need to realize that up until this blink was trivial... personally I would much rather see players reap the rewards they earn in the crucible versus the guy that went 5/20 and got the exoctic/ legendary item.

You don't like blink too fuking bad, go play another game and cry to them. Blink is fun and no I dont rely on it but it did come into the equation when I decided to make another warlock enstead of another titan. Just like final round and shot package were what I rolled for with my weapons. Crybabies are fuking up my hard work. That's all, rant over. Peace!

You have to understand Bungie's employees before you make judgement on quotes. These guys are t-shirt and blue jeans every day kind of people. They're laid back, they play their game constantly, they joke around and give each other crazy nicknames. Some devs and programmers probably were getting destroyed by a blink shotgun and joked around by asking when he was going to remove it. Example: say you own a pizza company that makes amazing pizzas. But the people making the pizza can't stop eating it and get fat. They then say your pizza is making them fat and you have to create something that doesn't make them fat. They're being sarcastic and you know they don't mean it. Basically the same thing.

2 RepliesYou're right, blast those people for trying to make a game more appealing they should've just left all the bugs and broken things in the game the way they were. That was much better. Dude I'd rather have a company that's always in the game trying to make it better than a company that just throws something broken at you and doesn't want to fix it.

Blink should never of been an offensive ability in the first place. What was worse they gave it to the two classes who have the highest melee range.

They will probably just make it so you are a little more visible during the blink. Or maybe a little more cool down time. Bungie knows not to take things out of games that make those games unique. It's gonna be ok buddy.

2 RepliesI can't understand the frustration with Blink. I run a Titan so I don't even have this ability at my disposal and while I can easily list multiple frustrations with Crucible Blink isn't one of them. Literally, I can't think of a single occasion that I thought, damnit that guy Blinked me! It's not an overpowered ability and should not be nerfed and definitely not removed!!!

It's useful for a ton of stuff in pvp like dodging rockets escaping grenades and gun fire when you're cornered or low on health etc. The problem is that it's exclusive to warlocks and hunters and with Titans getting the short end of the stick when it comes to abilities and exotic armor that's helpful In the crucible. If they're gonna keep it the way it is, they need to add it to the titan whether it's a jet pack mod, or a titan exotic that gives blink as an ability or something like that.
