It's obvious to anyone that has been playing Destiny for a while. They are just trying to prolong the game (make strikes, raids etc take longer to beat). But why do you ask...lack of content. Yep that should be a huge indicator on how much actual content will be in TTK. Take the ice breaker nerf for example, so they said they did that because people were just soloing strikes and nightfalls and just using the ice breaker...lol ok lol I don't see how raising the regen ammo timer is going to keep that from happening, it's simply going to take longer to solo...that's it. And you can chalk that up to the juggler perk. And the black hammer nerf...yea I get it, but it's pointless. It's still going to be beast for bosses with no reload...and it's not like we don't have tons of green ammo stored up from key farming(looking back on that geez did we waste a ton of time for garbage lol). Anyway the point is this really isn't a "weapon balance" it's more of a Game Balance. They know there's no content. They know what's going to be in TTK... (we shouldn't expect higher standards from the standards they have already set) so again these nerfs to boss killers are simply content extenders. That's it.

  • Well said.. Plus destiny is such a grind heavy game that you want to fly through the easy stuff. No need for it to take more time than it should right. I really dont think any bungie employees play this game. We need some over power weapons. If you ever played round 4 on skolas with all the yellow bar enemies you will go through your entire vlip of ammo trying to kill one capitan or servior.

  • Except the relative damage we'll do yo the current endgame bosses will increase because our light level will increase with TTK. We'll kill enemies even faster then. I'm thinking that they're also trying to pave the way for Year 2 weapons by lessening the relative power level of some Year 1 gear. Not saying that's the best idea, just what it seems like they're doing.
