Anybody else never encountered "lag switcher team"?
I've gone flawless over 12 times and yet I see sooo many kids moaning on here about lag switchers I've never encountered one only a few with temporarily bad connections which barely affected the game, are these kids just trying to find an excuse for being bad?

2 Replies99% of the community has never ran into it....it's just the noisy few who need the grease....and anytime there is a little lag ppl cry lag switch....rumors of the destiny servers demise has been greatly exaggerated....

Never seen any of them, although I expect that will change as I want to get the Watcher Set for my Hunter

1 ReplyYeah played against some bad connections but never lag switchers. People like to blame something other than themselves when losing in PvP its just human nature.

If I see lag, I just file cheating and bad connection, then avoid the player. Problem solved

1 ReplyI've only encountered it once. Everything would run fine until they were just about to lose a round, and suddenly they would become invincible and hump a wall until they teleported and killed you somehow. Next round starts, and everything is fine again. It's not as rampant as everyone says, most people just make excuses.

I am fairly sure that most players think that "lag switching" is the only explanation for any sort of rubberbanding or desynch - not allowing for either ping or packet loss in their thought process - even, shock horror, at their own end.

Yep , multiple times . Worst one happened on my first 8-0 , we faced the same lag switching team twice in a row and lost our chance to reach Lighthouse :S 3 titans whom turned on God mode. Can't be damaged at all first two round was given to each team one by one, Then they took us out with their supers one by one on each round on final 10 seconds. I was uber pissed , reported players and moved on. Gladly i made there 4 times and i am on my 5th run with my Titan. We managed to beat couple by extreme luck. What i suggest doing is don't aim to the dudes who is lack switching. Aim 2-3 meter ahead. We discovered this by chance , that way it hellps you damage the dudes but you need extreme lock and fast firing auto rifle to find out their exact location. One player should focus on identifying the correct location , other two should try to shutgun the identified place.

Haven't encountered a single team which is lag switching, I only saw videos on youtube...

I keep finding the mini-lag in normal crucible... The ones that don't allow your team to pick up heavy ammo.

Been flawless every week never encountered lag switchers. There was one match were they MIGHT have been using one but it didn't matter since we won anyway

I came across them once in Trials... My connection is solid (129 days uptime on my connection) - was on something like 5-0 on my card... came against a team that we were beating them 3-0. All of the sudden, all 3 of our team got a black screen - tried to recover, and when we went back in, it was the 'Game Over' screen and we were awarding a defeat and them a win.

Well, last time when I was searching for a team for ToO I came across one kid who plainly stated that he will use lag switch, so there you have it.

I have had a few that we're a little iffy but never had one that was definetly %100 lag switching.

I RAN INTO 1 IN FÚCKING CONTROL... IN CONTROL I DONT GET IT. He just kept dancing on the objective and we couldnt kill him!

I've never ran into any lag switchers either, been flawless every time I attempt trials (probably 7 now?) I have ran into a couple of teams where the host is someone on their team with the [i]worst[/i] connection imaginable and not only screws us up, but their team as well.
