I fully support people who demand gjallies in raids now
It's got nothing to do with elitism
It's got everything to do with being pissed off and protesting bungie forcing us to play this game on their terms
Sorry nubs, but I've never been a pro gjally person until now. You guys will have to pay for bungies screw ups until this situation is corrected.
I was ok with the weapon balancing at first, but the more I think about it, the madder I get. I know I don't need gjally, but it's not bungies place to tell me what weapon I should be using.
The NERFS to ice breaker and black hammer are what really tore it. I have a regular fireteam, but I also like to solo Crotas end and the nightfalls, and those are my two tools to get that done.
I will now have extra time added to my soloing. And for what? Like literally? What? There was no good reason for the ice breaker nerf besides bungie being tiny little people demanding we play the game on THEIR terms.
I will keep playing until 2.0.0. If nothing changes by then, I'm out.
I've been one of bungies fiercest supporters on these forums, but they're losing me.
[b]in short, bungie is insisting (yet again) we play this game the way they want us to play it
I'm sick of this mentality, so I'm going to mirror it by insisting people who play with me, play the way I want. Maybe bungie will understand how it feels from the vast majority who don't want these nerf's standpoint.

Edit: I have calmed down. I won't be excluding anyone. But still understand why some people might, and fully stand behind them in making that decision.
To the people who keep saying "it's their game, no shit you play on their terms" I have a question for you:
Do you go to McDonald's and ask for a Big Mac with no onions, and then say "well I guess it's their hamburger" when they put extra onions on it to spite you?
Because that's essentially exactly what you're saying. You are the consumer. They are providing a service. They are not your lord and dictator in gaming. Keep that in mind.

I think you answered your own question in your post man. Crota's end and nightfalls are not meant to be solo'd. It's designed with group play in mind. If there's a weapon that lets you run group content as a single player, obviously that weapon is giving you a pretty massive advantage. If you were soloing it all on pure skill, you wouldn't care what weapons they nerfed or didn't.

Just to clear this up, Bungie created Destiny. That being said its their game. If they wish the people playing the game to us sling-shots then the people that CHOOSE to play BUNGIE'S game would us sling-shots. But we are so much more powerful than the Templar and aetheon that it doesn't take much to bring them down now. Not having a single gally in a raid will add maybe 2 minutes to the raid. It 100% sucks they nerfed it but the reason they are doing it is an excuse. The gun is being nerfed to bring its power in line with the next gen weapons so that we grind again for new guns. So next time your doing an lfg let the other kids play. You know what I find? Appreciative people that are excited to get in a game. And if they get their first hard raid done I take joy in hearing their excitement.

Not only that, but BH and IB were perfectly balanced as they were. There was no need to nerf them... they're toying with the community, and I don't see anybody coming out of it better off..

11 RepliesThe reason Bungie gave for nerfing Gally is BS, it isn't because players without Gally are being excluded. Bungie doesn't want year one weapons killing their new poorly designed TTK bosses in seconds like what happened with POE Bosses. So bungie just nerfs year one weapons to make TTK seem more viable and they hide the nerf behind some BS excuse
