I mean let's think about it, they come in search of their "Great Machine" to help prevent them from extinction. We have "claimed it as ours" and deny them any part of it. Then proceed to send guardians out to slaughter all of their command and them. Cmon guys I'm pretty sure we are the bad guys here

Have they fallen so low? Oh yes....yes they have.
Yes I know....it burns..the pun burns....feeeeeeel it.
2 RepliesThese animals murdered and marauded their way through our system without mercy...they deserve NONE in return. Think about it, the very moment your brought back after x amount of years being dead, who is immediately trying to kill you? The Fallen, and you don't even have a weapon yet when this happens. They may have been something more at one point, but now they are little more than a band of space pirates. If they wanted to cease hostilities I'd be more than happy to discuss a peaceful resolution. However, they seem hell-bent on our destruction. Variks is the exception, not the rule, and honestly I'm still a little suspicious of him, and the Queen. Cayde-6 warns us that she knows better than any other how to set her enemies against one another.

1 ReplyNot sure I'd say that I feel bad for them however my outlook toward them has changed a bit. I would encourage peace talks between the Tower and the Fallen to see if there is any common ground. The Hive is one area where we agree.

1 ReplyEdited by Viguier: 7/20/2015 8:13:41 AMWe are the bad guys but they are worst. Their leaders doesn't care about the survival of their race. But i still hope we can make peace with them. I do not want to see Humanity survive by killing an entire species. There is no justice in the genocide.

4 RepliesEdited by CleverInvective: 7/19/2015 1:01:40 AMTrue but they do eat humans for sustenance. There are piles of bones and human skulls in the lair of the house of devils. My money is destiny two or three there will be some sort of alliance brokered with the fallen and cabal. Our conflict with them is somewhat more of a situational misunderstanding. We're all just trying to survive. The vex and hive are the real threat.
-
They are a very sympathetic villain which leads to a good story.
-
4 RepliesI kinda do. One of the grimoire has variks show obvious jealousy toward guardians. He asks why do vex have powerful vex minds, why do hive have gods and kings, and why does humanity have the traveler while the fallen have nothing? He points out tht ancient powers are waking up and everything is against them. He realizes skolas and every other kells way of leadership is wrong and is likely going to lead to their extinction. Piracy and hostility are not what they need and they have to find a new way. It is truly sad cuz it seems variks is the only fallen that knows this fate and honestly the fallen are so hostile because they're angry the traveler left them. They have no memory of the honorable race they once were. They are a lost and confused species

2 RepliesThe Traveller came to our solar system and gifted us with its wisdom. Then when his ancient enemy came to destroy him, instead of running off, he stood his ground to protect us. He claimed humanity. Then the fallen roll in and try to take him by force. Not even once did they attempt to communicate with us peacefully. They're just space pirates that feel entitled to everything.
-
2 RepliesTell ya what. I'll only shoot at Fallen that shoot at me first.
-
3 RepliesHumans are asshole. Guardians are puppets to those assholes. We should consider our goals. LONG LIVE THE FALLEN! DEATH TO ALL HUMANS!

Edited by gjeroniemo: 7/18/2015 9:33:54 PMI would feel bad for them, but that annoying captain with his 2 shotting shottie in the skolas fight can go suck me a *banana*

Fallen > Guardians
-
Re used rehashed i bet they just need a rest after year 1.

Ever notice the decorations outside of Sepiks chamber, the bones of the poor souls who missed the last ship before the fallen occupied the Cosmodrome. The United houses of Kings,Winter and Devils joyfully slaughtered men, women and even children, who didn't even know what a fallen was, much less stole anything from them. Maybe actions like this is why the traveler deemed them unworthy of his blessing, and continues to deny them the light. They can change, fallen like Variks see that they need to change to survive, and the house of exile may be exiled for sharing that sentiment. When I aim down the sights of my scout rifle at a dreg, captain,or vandal, I do not see an individual who is fighting for survival, I see the bones of there victims has I take satisfaction from there head exploding from my firefly rounds!!!!

I kind of agree. They went through their own sort of "Collapse" when the Darkness came through, but the Traveler had enough life left to escape. Now, they're screwed, the Traveler is screwed, we're screwed. See a trend? Darkness without light is an abyss. Light without darkness is blinding.

3 RepliesEdited by Swiftlock: 7/18/2015 8:04:27 PMThe Traveler came to US. We didn't claim it. Then they slaughtered a bunch of humans and later betrayed the Queen.
-
3 RepliesI never understood why we are aligned with the queen. It is pretty obvious that she holds slaves and practices torture. I never would have taken her side if given the choice.
-
1 ReplyIt's a natural war between species. Good or evil does not factor into it. Only one can reign supreme.
-
Well their cause is just, but not so sure I agree with them for wanting to shoot my head off tho
-
3 RepliesDuring the collapse, they slaughtered humans by the thousands, therefore I for one feel no remorse when I punch in a vandal's face
-
4 RepliesIf we have the fallen on our side and then since cabal are allied with the fallen we'd have two allies
-
-
Yeah, and they also want to kill us. It's about perspective.
-
Second chances don't happen often.

2 RepliesBro it's just Manifest Destiny, we did the same thing to the Native Americans in late 1700s to early 1800s.
