The reality of the 3 main nerfs - a must read to all involved in this debate.
Three guardians all with BH and Gallys will still take out Skolas in record time. That's 54 BH rounds and 21 Gally shells. It will just take greater cooperation and more tries to get the strat right. If 2 Gallys no longer take down Crota then...one of the other SIX players in the raid can fire one. Either one of the tanks in the Devils lair or valus strikes will now need everyone to have BH with a full clip and every shot a crit hit. Forget IB there now, it's use will pretty much fizzle out after the nerf. You only will ever get around 18 shots on Atheon between teleports any way so very little difference there. Again IB totally defunct there.
I do not agree with the nerfs. I think in some ways they won't change much, they will just make the community even more elitist than it is which is a terrible thing! Must have BH and Gally will be the new gating because the reason people are gating now is that they don't want to spend hour after hour grinding away at a bullet sponge. It's not fun. The real issues here run much deeper the OP'd weapons.

Absolute bullet sponge bosses, so called challenges that border on ridiculous, nerfing, all the time, no matchmaking, Bungie has no idea what it is doing. They are counting on player addiction to see it through the long run. I've got a 34 Hunter, a 33 Titan and a 31 warlock, why grind? I have 16 Exotic weapons (no Ghorn). Completing triumphs for an emblem is NOT worth my time. Badlands series, Bioshock series, here I come.

Yep...Ruining weapons isn't the answer, and dictating how we should play isn't either. Players don't appreciate either approach. This senseless mentality must end.

1 ReplyGet the auto rifles fixed and nothing else. Do not nerf EXOTIC WEAPONS and don't remove the ammo perk on the BLACK HANMER! Enough said!! It's funny but just after the upgrade to the forums, I cannot find any posts with the polls on the new weapon update. There were hundreds if not thousands that expressed we are in disagreement with this update.

4 RepliesThey made Black Hammer to contend with the Ice Breaker, since it used to be the only viable PvE sniper choice. Now since people are playing they way they want and not the way Actibungie wants they're gonna destroy the Black Hammer (the skill based infinite ammo), making it go back down to 1 viable infinite ammo choice. And they're gonna scold everyone (say fcuk you to everyone's faces) by making the last choice shittier than what it was before the Black Hammer even existed. So here's the deal. Actibungie is either: 1. Making everything that was good shittier so that the new Taken King shit actually looks good. 2. Completely -blam!-ing retarded and just making an infinite loop for themselves. Or… 3. Showing off how much money they have, by solving "problems" by making more problems. Then having to fix everything while at the same time doing the exact opposite of what literally EVERY SINGLE PLAYER wants. Just constantly putting more and more money into useless teeter totter updates just to show that, "We can take you're money so easily and do whatever we want with it. Even make your game experience shittier. Because we know that no matter how much you say you won't buy the next dlc, you will, because you'll hope that it adds something to compensate for the shit we just gave you. And after we make all the money back from making the shit update and the dlc, THEN we will fix everything. Because fcuk you. We're Actibungie, lords of shit. Whores of money."

Newsflash Bungie!! Nobody is going to spend the ridiculous hours to get the exotic weapons when they are no better than blue weapons. This update will kill your game...if not for everyone, then for everyone you WANTED to stay a player. It definitely will kill it for me. #WorstUpdateEver. Done with this game the day you nerf BH and Gally.

That's a decent layout when you are familiar with the activities. I agree, it makes the game harder and alienates parts of the community to fix a problem that wasn't even there to begin with.
