REAL LIFE WARTHOG BUILT BY JEEP
i saw an article in the daily telegraph (uk) motoring section and on the front cover was a picture of the warthog!! well thats what i thought. but actually its apparently called a "hurricane". it was demonstrated in the detroit motorshow and looks almost excactly like the warthog. two passenger seats with the bar overhaead, a , and wheels that can steer independantly.it has a winch on the front too. however, no-where in thhe article was there any credit to halo or bungie! i am sure this is based on a warthog. it i slightly modified, it has 2 engines and the windscreen is a bit different, but you can see how similar it is. here is the link to the jeep page on it: [url]http://www.jeep.com/autoshow/concept_cars/hurricane/index.html [/url]

i think this was definetly based on a warthog and jeep should have given bungie some credit for the idea.
any opinions?

So thats why Jeep is so popular. THEY HAVE BEEN COPYING VIDEO GAME VEHICLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But I think no matter how hard they try, bungie's vehicles will always be better. So, when do yall think the military is going to build a prototype scorpion? You know, they copy from video games too.

Copying is the highest form of flattery. Whoever doesn't see the similarities needs their eyes tested! I'm not saying i think it's copied completely, but they must have used the warthog as inspiration.

I read it, and have seen that months ago. A few tips for you. 1: Never post anything in All Caps, I dont care if "you" think it's important or not, it does not deserve to be in all caps. 2: Never bumb you posts like that. You posted, thats nice, but then you posted again just to keep it near the top to get seen. That is illegal here, and can get you a blacklisting if you dont watch out. What is the point of Bumping anyways? If they didnt post in it the first time, they were not interested in it, whats making it stay up top gonna do besides annoy them? Think about it.......
