PVP players who don't use Thorn
What's your load out. I'm new on Xbox and don't have all the weapons I have on ps4. Which includes Thorn. So obviously I cant use it in PVP as I did on Ps4. And I'm actually having more fun without it.
I use
Spare Change.25 or Up the Ante
Found Verdict or Matodor64
And truth.
I'm not amazing at PVP but I'm doing better here than I was on ps4 with thorn.
So what's your load out in PVP if you aren't using thorn?

On my warlock i currently run a build to generate tons of super energy via melee and charged-melee kills - weapon: monte carlo (faster melee regen / full regen on kills) - exotic armor: ahamkara's claws (2x melee charge / faster melee) - head: osiris headgear with: -- grenade-hits replenish melee energy -- more super energy via melee-kills -- reduced grenade-cd when picking up orbs - vestian dynasty as special I aim for maxed intellect and discipline. Skillset: - voidwalker - axion-bolt grenade - blink - vortex - soul rip (more super from charged melee-kills) - arcane wisdom - the hunger (longer energy-drain effect) - order of chaos - embrace the void (grenades + novabomb grant energy-drain) I aim to kill as normal with the monte carlo to get my melees charged up. When the possibility arises i try to finish people off with a charged melee. [spoiler]Like 1) axion-bolt against shotgun-campers 2) blink over them 3) melee-finish from behind[/spoiler] A charged-melee kill grants about half a super. A melee hit or kill or a grenade hit or a nova bomb grants half a grenade. You can easily novabomb 7 times a game while picking up only 1-2 orbs from teammates Grants lots of orbs for them and makes the game more fun ;) The monte carlo does serious damage and staggers enemies so the average thorn user cannot twoshot which gives you the time to kill him. (20+ a headshot, has insane range / stability)

4 RepliesI like Thorn but I'm a terrible shot with it so I use - Red Hand, Fulcrum, Her Mercy or Ill Will Red Death, Hygeia Nobless, Skorri's Revenge Her Courtesy, Hard Luck Charm, Matador, Invective. BTRD 345 or Jolder's Hammer Some odd choices for a lot of folk probably but it's what feels best and I'm making progress. Slowly.

1 ReplyI use my trusty high rod soldier with full auto and hidden hand. My amplified get D6 with one man army and hidden hand again and for my heavy I have BTRD with counterbalance and again one man army. I would highly recommend this

Usually I run MIDA Multi-tool or Red Death with Party Crasher +1 and BTRD-345. If I'm sniping I use my LDR 5001 or Her Benevolence. I love Truth as well, especially on Combined Arms. Lots of room for tracking rockets ;). Lately I found a rare scout rifle with excellent stats that make it more than a match for legendary weapons.

This weeks on Trials I played Messenger Shadow of Veils Gjally (Because I can) For normal Crucible I usually run Preadyth's Timepiece Shadow of Veils or Astral Horizon Jolders or BTRD
