Bungie reasoning of nerfimg G-Horn

What we did not intend, and what we unfortunately saw, was pick up Raid and Nightfall groups gating participation based on whether or not players had this weapon. Gjallarhorn was so strong that for many people it had become the only answer to getting through tough encounters, and therefore they were less willing to spend time with other players that didn’t have it. But since gally is going to be weaker won't raid groups require it more.... When i did Hardmode crota I would only look for 4 people with gallys .. Now that they are weaker.. You would need a full team of gallys if you aren't looking to spend a long time on a raid

  • I think Gjally will be even more required because it 1-2 players with it can not make up for the other 1-2. I don't have one and getting into Skolas is getting tiresome even though I have beaten him several times using HoC. Now I feel like less teams will give me the chance because they can't make up for the difference.
