  • Please add an exotic duplicate protection system like the one from patch 1.1.4. Exotics are rare enough that it stings to receive a Y1 duplicate in Forsaken.

  • Also, melees are whiffing more. Meleeing someone but no damage is being taking or my guardian miss completely even though melee animation took effect. The melee supers (arc staff and Defender) both also whiff in supers. Melees connects but player doesn't take any damage or die from the super, they only die from the arc staff electric wave or sentinel shield bash aura. Doesn't make sense if I'm connecting my shield or staff to someone face and they don't die. Please fix, this been a frustrating problem since day 1 Destiny 2 and was also a problem in D1 with arcblade and melees

    • Explosive based mechanics aren't working. I hope this is a bug and will be fixed in Forsaken. I Play of the Game grenaded someone in the face directly but no damage taken, threw an explorer knife plenty of times but no damage, Polaris lance 5th shot explosion does no damage nor burn, it very aggravating when you know someone was suppose to take damage but didn't, especially from explosions

    • Can you confirm if bungie is aware of the toggle ADS bug that was introduced with patch 2.0? I think it was there in Beta. I would like to know if this will be reverted back before next Tuesday. The reason is, if it is not going to be reverted back, I'll just get used to hold ADS this week so I can play forsaken.

    • overall, more community involvement. I have some ideas in that document. hopefully someone from Bungie sees this. These are some ideas for content and quality of life changes that people from the community have expressed, and some of my personal ideas and thoughts on them as well. Along with my thoughts on already existing ideas, I have submitted some of my own. I believe that these ideas would add more depth and longevity to the game. More in depth ideas and thoughts about a specific topic, such as crucible, aren’t in here because a whole other list could be made for that. These are mainly for the overall experience as players. There is always room to improve these and add on to them as well. More can be added, but these are just some of the main ones that I want to flesh out and hopefully see in the future. Hopefully this will get some traction and be seen by the community and Bungie Devs. Any additions, comments, or brand-new ideas are encouraged. hopefully the link works. If it does not, I will have to post it on the forums on two separate posts because of how lengthy it is. (the format of the headers and points look weird because of the format change to make this view able.)

        • Please fix the glitch that lets you hit someone in PvP that you've been shooting at after they run behind a wall for about a half a second. I've seen this since day 1 of Destiny 2 and I figured it would be fixed by now but it still hasn't.

          • If I wanted to play trials, I wouldn't play quick play. How about you make an option for skill based match making and connection based match making? That way all these people who enjoy picking on non trials level skill players can still do it and those of us who play this game to relax can still do it. Everyone benefits. Two different options to choose from.

          • Please bring skill-based matchmaking back. I'm sick and tired of everyone using graviton Lance or vigilance wing. I'm having to use graviton Lance just to stand a chance to get kills. I can't stand that gun and I think it's overpowered for Crucible. I just want to be able to use Crimson again. Of course when I say anything about this higher skill level players say that I am crying. I tell them well you can play competitive and leave quick play to the lower level skill players. They're only having fun because they're not dying. it's really gotten to the point where I don't even want to play Crucible anymore. There's no point. It's just not fun this way. I feel like since I paid for this I should be able to have some say in what goes on.

              For PvP, it would be cool if could see how many times we died as well as our score even in the middle of a match if we pop out our ghost or something. Also with PvP, I would like to see some game modes like back in the Halo days their were quite a few fun game modes such as Capture the Flag, Oddball, and King of the Hill. An option to turn on/off to automatically delete our blues would be a nice feature to have. I understand something like that might be tricky to do but it were doable then awesome! I hope to see an exotic armor piece that allows the Titan to track enemy PvP players as well. Since the Hunter and Warlock has one like that.... I would not mind seeing a big crucible map get thrown in from time to time, like the moon map or that earth one in D1. Personally I loved those big maps, hardly any good sniper maps in D2. Be cool to use vehicles and turrents in a crucible map, maybe even a tank or 2 to mix it up a bit. Be nice if tanks had more usage than those 2 story missions.........

                  How much of the GDC 2013 talk by former Writer/Design director Joseph Staten and then Art Director, now Game Director Chris Barrett is still relevant to the current design of Destiny? There's a lot to go through there, but the key points would be the goal of moving away from linear, one-and-done content, the Pillars of the World of Destiny, the Last City as the heart of this world, the aesthetics of Mythic Sci-Fi and Nature Ascendant, the use of postcards and the Style Guide as described. These are the things that pulled me in from the first minute I picked up the game. Sadly, D2 seems to have wandered away from virtually every point made here: Each successive content pack is self-contained and isolated; TTK was the only one to ever reuse old zones and recycle maps. Each of the Four Pillars are arguably non-existent at this point, with the biggest hit suffered by the notion of a "Hopeful and Inviting world" (stand in the D2 Tower for 5 min and compare the ambient chatter to D1). We see so little of the City that it serves as little more that the hub for loot and its storage, rather than a home we care about. Mythic Sci-Fi has given way to Fantasy, as seen in the armor and destination designs. Even beyond this move to Fantasy (Io, Nessus), Trostland in the EDZ and the Rig on Titan feel like CoD or Battlefield maps. The styles honed in D1 seem to have been dropped, and replaced with something... Less. The fallen are no longer a dark mirror to humanity, they're treated as irritants and vermin. The hive got gooey. The Vex got less inscrutable. The Cabal feel less like a Military Industrial Complex and more Generic Villain-y. The current Class models simply don't fit the postcards beyond the most superficial aspects. Even the well-received recent addition of The Whisper is not immune. As cool and interesting and exciting as it is, it's still a one-and-done style mission. Sure, you need to come back multiple times to get all the goods, but having to play Tsavo Highway four times doesn't make it Not Tsavo Highway. It's also exclusionary: as much I enjoyed mastering the run and claiming my prize, I actually had a conversation with my friends where we had to acknowledge that they simply weren't good enough, and that this activity wasn't for them. They conceded that they would never experience it and I had to leave them for some random others on LFG. It's a huge missed opportunity that this amazing area has nothing for those who aren't raider-level and able to sail through timed jumping puzzles. When was the decision made to abandon those original stated goals? Was it even a conscious decision or did it somehow just fall to the wayside? I still love that original, distant dream and if there was a path to bring it to fruition, I'd run it until my legs gave out. It's rarely helpful to be on the outside shouting in but hey, Holtzman broke through, right? Maybe someday I'll be able to perch again like I did atop the Mothyards, or scour the dusty carcass of a city like Freehold, or stalk overgrown ruins like the Academy in the driving rain. Maybe someone will be able to bring back these goals and ideals, and revive the quiet beauty that still sends me back to D1.

                • I've been waiting for the taken blight for hours for the last two days. It makes no sense to keep waiting for an event that rarely comes. Four fire teams and hours later and still no event ,every fire team gets pissed and quits due to the time between each event. We want to play the game but who has time to wait. NOW I here that only players who play the game can get 400 weapons. Jesus Christ when will the madness end!!!!!

This elitist attitude of ways to obtain catalyst and power levels is sickening. I really thought bungie had learnt something about locking content out of the average players reach. Exotic catalyst should be achievable to everyone that invests time and money into you're game not just the best of the best of the best, I'm just an average player but this really has placed a doubt in the purchase of forsaken

                        • @cosmo The one about Competitive... I think a way to solve the issue with Solo vs Teams should be as such and would make the competitive player pool size blow up. So if you lose and you're on top of the leaderboard for your team you should not lose glory and maybe even win some, sure not as much as if you won the match but it's something and people wouldn't be thinking why am I playing this constantly getting beat and I'm better then my team and have better in game stats then the top player on the other team. Iron Banner in Destiny 1 year 1 in the beginning only awarded you rank ups if you won so people dropped out if they were losing on a constant basis and stopped playing Iron Banner all together til it got fixed so if you lost you would still get something although not as much as winning and it carried over to Destiny 2. My question is can we implement something like this for competitive? Because the player base isn't there because the way it is set up now and the people who are there are the sweats that make it not a fun experience to be in.

                          • I love masterworking guns. Its fun to have a kill count and generate your own candy corns for faster supers. The minor stat boosts are nice too. That being said, the mag size role is extremely limited and in some cases, flawed. Example: I masterworked Garden Proginy last night and got the mag size boost. I was under the impression that the "plus 10" is percentage based, but this time my mag size went from 14 to 14.....a total gain of ZERO rounds. I also got the mag size boost for Antiope D and the mag size went from 26 to 28. Adding two bullets to an smg is hardly useful next to a boost in handling or range. My point is, for 10 cores the reward should be at least noticable. If the mag size is going to be a role, it should at least WORK. Add 2 or 3 rounds to a scout mag and maybe 5 to 7 rounds on an smg. Anyone else experience these frustrations?

                          • Sorry about interrupting the work that is probably is currently happening as your positioned as community manager and probably might be at E3, but can you please pass along the information and feedback that not a lot of people in the destiny community is enjoying the heavy, almost can be deemed throttled, grind for faction rally tokens and find other ways of having them drop in ways it's easily accessible? I don't want to look like a bad guy, but I don't think people like to experience the same lost sector that is the easiest out of the bosses (titan, rig, ogre) and go repeat the process of getting 5 renown just to dive into the same lost sector for ten tokens a pop. If there was a way to gain them in higher then ten or fifteen per lost sector, or just make it that you recieve doubled the amount of tokens for wearing the armor associated with the faction. I say that my time in the first faction rally I didn't like due to this flaw in the tokens getting earned. Out of grinding all this week, I only got to rank 23 on New monarchy. I'm not the only one here and all of the people who giving the feedback I'm presenting to you are usually all monarchy players. Hopefully, this isn't some sick joke for the constant victories monarchy received over the past seasons. But seriously, please do take this into consideration and pass it down to the development team that works on the quality of live improvements? I say I'll rank this rally to a 2/10 though.                           • id love to see new quests as a regular thing not rng orientated but tough and thought prevoking with exiting new stuff at the end of it but keep the rewards a secret dont splash them all over youtube and maybe allow a fireteam of 2 or 3 to complete certain aspects this would be a great addition and wouldnt feel repetitive 1 a week would be great ,thoughts?.
