Can someone explain the Thorn "buff"?
I'm kinda confused as to what is does, and how it affects PvP and PvE use

3 RepliesThe amount of damage the thorn does per shot is reduced, meaning that it will be less effective in PvP, where 2-4 shots will kill. The damage over time can now stack, so consecutive shots now mean more damage,making it a little better in PvE.

What the first poster said. The ability to get the DoT to stack (x 5) will make Thorn a MUCH more useful weapon in PVE....and a good choice in end-game content where you are facing lots of shielded enemies, and don't have the matching elemental damage primary.
