MY opinion on what Bungie should do...

The whole idea of them considering this a "balance patch" is just outrageous. (sorry for all punctuation errors and spelling that is to follow >.<) I'm not trying to whine or complain about the mistakes I'm seeing but there are a few suggestions I think would overall make everything balanced without over complicating everything. -First of all were gonna touch up on fusion rifles.. Yes Ik they're overpowered to some degree but nerfing them again is not something that should be happening right now.. I say a small buff would be okay like a 6% increase in charge rate as compared to it's normal rate for all rifles (excluding Vex and Pocket Infinity) as for vex and pocket infinity with a 10% decrease rate of fire so that that the charge rates can't destroy you PvP. As for PvE purposes keep them where they're at. -Next up hand cannons... Thorns are a hard enough RnG drop for the bounty I myself went through 4 sets of bounties just to get mine. Even then it's sure to keep you busy for awhile with the challenges especially if you're not big on PvP. My suggestion would to be lower the range by 15-20% cuz even though I have the thorn I Despise the thorn's capability to cross map people it really is unfair. DO NOT add a fusion rifle like scatter for the bullets for even the hand cannons already have accuracy problems I myself am pretty good at crucible and still miss many shots with my thorn or even the last word and any other hand cannon I choose to use. I have no comments about the Hawkmoon except just don't decrease accuracy on any hand cannon. Also really? a range nerf for the last word??? Clearly you haven't seen it's range it really isn't an issue. For the Mark of the Devour perk on Thorns the damage nerf really isn't necessary either considering how it would normally still take someone 3 shots to kill anyways. Honestly it seems like you guys haven't taken jack from any of the pro players and only listen to people without any skill who can't compete with these weapons. I can kill people with Thorns and Last words with a nerfed suros without any difficulty and sometimes even a hardlight Bungie is punishing pro's for being good. -Snipers!!! WHY the hell??? I just recently acquired the black hammer and Ice Breaker and look forward to using and loving them but now you want to nerf the perks? The black hammer is useless without the white nail perk it's hard enough o get all 3 shots off anyways and increasing the rate for bullet gathering with the IB but it really doesn't matter considering how you're normally already out of ammo and waiting before you know it and it still takes a painfully long time. Some snipers however should be nerfed to the slightest as in impact or even rate of fire seeing as some snipers can pull off body shots. Other then these few suggestions I have nothing left for snipers. -Auto rifles... Should've nerfed only a little bit in the past seeing as they're making a come back. -Jellyhorn... No complaints only a small nerf really isn't a big deal however many of friends think it shouldn't considering its low drop rate in the RnG. -Red Death.. I kinda can't and kinda do understand this one. The rate of fire is already pretty abysmal and lowering it doesn't really help and the range doesn't need a decrease cause' it already kinda sucks I can barley get kills at a long distance and (not to brag) I'm pretty good a crucible however as a whole I believe Pulse rifles should be nerfed slightly to make a more balanced system considering their giant damage buff maybe lowering it by 15-20% or even just 5% would be all we need. -Scout rifles... Good job Bungie you got something right :) -Shotguns!!!!! WTF!!!!?!?!?!?!??!?! Seriously????? You just made anything PvE almost impossible at this point. High servitors and reaver captains are my main concern (PoE) anything with yellow health in general (mainly 32 and up) really needs to have a shotgun or else you can't really fight back. I understand the goal is to make it harder but it really is hard enough again you're only listening from players who aren't that skilled and I understand you want to make the environment more playable for them but the game should be about earning skill not given it for free without trying. Not many primary's can take down things with yellow health and you don't want to waist heavy on these things cause' you could've just used a shotgun. For PvP purposes however I do suggest a small nerf to range maybe a decrease by 5-10% so that even with shot package witch I assume adds only 6-7% to the range while aiming, it will be balanced in a way. and if that's not enough maybe even a nerf to impact but I think the range is more the problem. Nerf the range and even with a faster firing weapon you may have to get two shots off before a kill allowing players a chance to fight back. All in these things Ik most or some won't even be in the patch because of changes that may come due to everyone else suggestion. I think that they're just taking away from all the skilled players who spend hours to become legends at the game. I also believe that Bungie is only listening to people who complain because they're not skilled enough to compete with the higher league players who are usually the basis for these patches, nerfs and buffs. Let me know what you think and even where I'm wrong call me names if you want IDC it's my opinion so if you don't like it piss off. Have a wonderful day :) Edit: Forgot to mention only some small changes should be made not big ones that can completely affect game-play and some of these really do. Edit2: Like I said about taking away from the good players About 2 days ago I went roughly 16 and 7 and got nothing while somebody at the bottom who went 2 and 14 he got a thunderlord while I was stuck with nothing. In fact he was the only one who got anything this isn't the first time either I've 32 and 6 while some one again at the bottom got a gjallarhorn... I could go into deeper detail but it really isn't necessary. Edit3: There's a lot I left out but here were my main concerns most of the other stuff really doesn't bother me.

    • It doesn't appear as though youproperly read the update. The shotguns section gave exact percentages currently and what they will be nerfed to - no need to throw out random numbers here - they gave them to you explicitly. Red Death was not mentioned at all in the update, so not sure why there is any comment about that gun here. Reducing pulse rifle damage by 15-20% would completely undo (and then some) what they did in the last balance (they increased damage by 10% the last go round). I suggest rereading the update.

I do agree with this. Minus the part about gally. To me destiny is all about getting the gally and obliterating all enemies. Without this it's kinda dead to me.
