No Love for Fusion Rifles ?
Fusion Rifles(FR) are probably the most underwelming weapon type in the game. The risk/reward pay off is none existent in both pvp and pve. Also there are better special weapons that out class FRs in every aspect/situation possible. For example shotguns can down a captain in 3 seconds in pve. In pvp forget about even the Vestian Dynasty is more lethal then a FR. Now in the new Weapon Balancing 2.0 patch FRs are recieving a accuracy nerf?! I mean i get it the devs want it to be a skill based weapon that has a prediction factor but come on if thats the case why reduce accuracy? Shouldn't you increase its target accusition instead?
My vote is for buff! What do you guys think?

I think it should have a one hundred twenty percent pve buff It should be 120 percent because that would make charge rate worth it

2 RepliesI couldn't agree more. Like everyone else I assumed a big buff for fusion rifles to make them viable again instead they unbelievably nerfed them yet again. Absolutely insane!! They might as well just eliminate the entire class. Fusion rifles used to be the most exciting fun class but Bungie is intent on destroying them as a class.

I couldn't agree more. Here I was fantasizing about how maybe, just maybe I'd be able to dust off my old Pocket Infinity or Plug one. I thought for sure they'd be getting a buff...I'm truly baffled by this cocky doody re-nerf.

Yeah the fusion rifle thing is the only real issue with the update if you ask me. Auto rifles could probably use a bit more range though

Because of all the nerfs to fusion rifles, I wouldn't be surprised if when I log on my Plan C is in a corner crying and shaking uncontrollably.

Lol, I think no one will use these weapons. they are a shit class.. IMHO, Charge two seconds and get something that might or might not kill anything because the spread isnt focused enough for a range kill and too slow compared to shotguns they will patch again hopefully this time with a charge time buff.

Fusion rifles effin suck ass. Vex mytho is cool cuz its super efficient but since the nerf, i havent really even seen it in gameplay. Fusion rifles get you killed and in general are super lame. Only my opinion... not trying to hate on fusion fans.

I'm average in crucible, and think FR's were fine in their "at-launch" state. They needed a boost in PVE, but in crucible they were well-balanced. I could dodge them if I heard the charge early enough, and that charge-sound is so bloody obvious you'd have to be an idiot if you didn't stop whatever you were doing to dodge left or right as fast as you could. Then, they catered to whiners who couldn't be bothered to dodge, and they gave FR's a "spread". You couldn't get 1hko beyond shotgun range, but now you couldn't dodge! They took away the reward of "0 damage received" from those skilled enough to be self-aware during a gunfight! Then, they buffed shotguns to the moon and introduced Felwinter, Matador, and Party crasher, and fusion rifles simply vanished. Now, they're nerfing the hell out of fusion rifles and somehow expecting a slight reduction in shot package and rangefinder to cause people to stop using shotguns? When do i [i]stop[/i] laughing! [b]Then there's the effect of this on Vex Mythoclast, which is already out-classed by most primaries in PVP and still has no ammo in PVE. FFS bungie hasn't this gun been beaten up enough? Do you have to stomp on the bloody smear which comprises what used to be its corpse now?[/b]

Yeah, wtf is wrong with bungie? They say the weapon class is underused than nerf it?! Wow, bungie is looking more like a joke with every patch. Only good thing theyve done since its release is buff Thorn.

Why would they nerf fusions even though they were not being used? What the hell Bungie? Instead of saying you are 666 you are more 777 then anything.
