Bungie's fault, pure and simple. They made it the myth and the legend it is by not selling it since week 2. By now, most hardcore players have gotten it. Only thing left to do is knock it down to be on par with the "new wave" of players. My question is this though. Are there really going to be that many new people? I mean honestly, how many people are seriously expected to jump on board NOW? I always just anticipated the core year one people to be the ones to make it to year ten. To me, the nerf only makes sense for the spiteful, the social shut ins who don't like being rejected a fee times, or the other elitists who, for some reason, hate people who enjoy using the game's best weapon.
