They could have just started up their own group and sent out invites for raids. It's actually pretty simple, I had to do it before I had a Ghorn. The excuse that people were "excluded from content" is pathetic, you have access to the content with or without a Ghorn, go find people to play with. If people will only play with you with a Ghorn, they're probably trash in the first place.
