You all know that the gjallahorn paved the way for many raid groups to get many raid completions that most raid groups probably could not have been able to do without it. It was op and if you say it wasn't there only 2 reasons for that. Your stupid or your a liar. Theres no way around it I've been on both sides. I went almost a year without it and completed everything without it within 2 weeks I can tell how OP it is. It's just a fact people. The point I'm getting at is people cry cry cry about balance in this game. Everyone uses the Thorn because it's obviously op. It's pretty much easy to tell what's op by the ridiculous amount of people using it. Everyone is always saying nerf this and buff that. Why not just ask for balance? It seems to me that Bungie put a lot of thought into this and really wanted to balance the weapons the right way instead of nerfing all of the current overpowered guns just so others could take their place. You say pvp is unbalanced and your going to quit playing because of it. You say Bungie doesn't listen and you want to quit playing because of it. Bungie comes out with an update with what looks to be the best rebalancing weapon update yet. An update that to me looks like genuine thought were put into it to actually BALANCE the weapons instead of just nerfing and buffing a few weapons but keeping an overall imbalance like i I stated above.........and you people cry about it......lol.......if they didn't listen and didn't want to balance pvp why are they balancing pvp with the feedback the community gave them? Think about that for a second......it almost sounds like they did listen and are balancing weapons? Your mad it took so long? I can understand the impatience but it rather something take longer and be done right than something be quick but be done wrong. Basically what I'm trying to say is. If your mad your OP rocket launcher got toned down a bit or your OP hand cannon got toned down a bit or that auto rifles got toned up a bit for the overall good and [b][i][u]BALANCE[/u][/i][/b] of the game....please....please.....shut............the -blam!- up. Balance right...... Let's see how soon it is before the next new unbalanced weapon gets over used and abused

Of course the Gally is OP, that's why everybody wants one. I actually really liked the idea of one hard to find weapon that was so amazing people will play forever just to get one, like the Holy Grail of Destiny. It also didn't mess up the balance in PvP since a heavy weapon isn't really worth the exotic slot, so it was a win-win. .... until of course a bunch of scrubs in LFG groups who can't shoot straight decided to be pseudo-elitist (pseudo because they aren't good, just picky) and exclude a large portion of the playerbase. Nerfing a weapon because jerks is really annoying on a number of levels. Yeah, I'll still be able to complete pretty much everything but it's gonna take longer and [i]my God the amount of my RL life wasted (and deaths of my guardian) waiting for the PS3 menu to load so I can pop a heavy synth...[/i]

I raid with the same group of friends (clan) so this does not really effect me but i think this nerf will back fire, LFGs will soon require all team members to own g-horns to make up for the nerf personally i don't mind any of the buffs or nerfs ("lie" i will cry about my blackhammer and icebreaker) whats your thoughts?
