Well I'm happy. I have been kicked from so many raids because of this launcher. I have been asked if I have one every single time I want to do nightfalls or raids. So you know what. I am sooooooo happy the nerf happened.

The Bungie dev said in the interview that the reason they want to nerf G'horn is because they didn't intend for it to be a disqualifier for people to get invited to group activity. Well, jeez, no brainer, if that's your concern, sell it on Xur like you do every other non-Raid weapon (Raid = Word, Fang, etc.) Selling G'horn periodically would absolutely eradicate Bungie's concern without lobotomizing the unique abilities G'horn brings to content to provide other unique ways to get things done. G'horn is unique, just like Ice Breaker and others are unique. Don't lobotomize dimensions of gameplay when uniqueness can be preserved. Don't turn G'horn into just another Hunger of Crota but with Solar burn. I've spent countless hours both enjoying G'horn use, and in helping friends do the weekly reset content to acquire their G'horns. After months of helping on a weekly basis, two guys I help most had not gotten G'horn yet, until one of the two finally got one this week, to their immense pleasure. All of that work, months, you would destroy by lobotomizing the reward? Instead, you could Xur it, and instead even the guy(s) who have worked for months, would still feel that they did the work, and they finally got one. You guys are really missing the boat.

Why did bungie nerf it because people will be left out . The gally is great the best wepon the end game . Now what will happen is raids . Skolas . Missions MORE GALLYS WILL BE NEED . Bungie where not going to stop asking for gally user now where going to be asking for more gallys .

Not a Gjallarhorn Elitist, just got mine two days, ago i loved the hell out of it, managed and did extremely well without it for 330 hours i logged. However the Gjallarhorn nerf will piss a lot of people off including myself. The point as they stated in the Update Preview "If you want to nuke things, this is the weapon", That statement just contradicts itself, with the nerf. Out of everything that needed a rebuff or nerf, they nerf the one PvE based weapon that was meant to be as op as it is now, to the quality of other heavies that are barely used. Wtf why.. They also mentioned "Excluding out non Gjallarhorn users, or those who don't have one." Well i can bet you that even after the nerf, there will still be those Elitists out there, guaranteed. Also in most cases, it was used to help a friend or carry through a tough raid / strike, now they diminish its value and purpose, and overall strength imo that's just dumb. I can almost bet that with their new Exotics and weapons coming, there will be another Gjallarhorn based weapon in terms of "OPness" , than what are they going to nerf it too? when the purpose is to annihilate things.. Logic.. All and all it didn't need a nerf at all. People need to stop crying. This nerf shouldn't even happen.

I never complained about it being to powefull, I wanted to get 1 and never did. I dont like it being nerfed either as it takes the excitment away from even getting 1 now.

Why even have a thunder lord , truth, dragons breath...etc if ballerhorn is the only thing you use. BORING!!?

Same PvE babies crying about thorn, if they nerf that the have to nerf Gally. To many elites think there all gally fire teams rule and no place for a non gally user to play. The Gjallarhorn nerf is going to backfire horribly. The people who feel they [i]need[/i] Gjallys to get through endgame activities will now be even more stingy with allowing those in that don't have one. No longer can one person with Gjally cover the damage output of another without it, and thus it will become a requirement for everyone in the fireteam. The nerf that they thought would diminish its exclusivity is actually going to promote [i]more[/i] elitism.
