So I stop playing for a few days and come back, seeing a bunch of nonsense about revamping weapons again. Let me get some things straight... 1. People are upset that they can't get into groups because they don't have G-horn? Big deal. Last I checked a lot of groups require you to have max level as well. Guess we better go back to the Halo setup of level not being important at all, right, Bungie? After all, we wouldn't want to upset any level 33 players. Changing hand cannons? Changing all hand cannons when the only one I've heard serious complaints about is Thorn. One. Single. Hand cannon. And now you're changing them all? You wrote that the hand cannon should be used in close or medium range combat, but made it so firing quickly makes it less effective? Because it makes sense to pace shots slowly when at close range. Who am I to expect logic after all these months, though? If there are exotics I don't have, I don't complain. I keep on keepin' on. If there's a gun that continuously destroys me in PVP, I don't complain. I find a way to get around that player's strategy and take him or her out regardless. If I'm not max level, I don't complain. I keep pushing to get there. There's multiple reasons. The obvious first being the whole argument of it just being a game. Plenty more to follow. It makes sense to require Gally because it's a very damaging weapon and you want damage when going up against any kind of enemy. It makes sense to try to have your allies be as high a level as possible to gain the benefits from it. It makes sense that some weapons will be spammed because people can't figure out better strategies. Most of all, what makes sense is that this is all a game to Bungie. Starting with the simple fact that PS4 players have more benefit. Why? Because Bungie had issues with Microsoft in the past? Big whoop. Let's exact revenge in the form of punishing customers that had absolutely nothing to do with it. I've seen a lot of changes and even more talk of changes. Whether it be nerfing, buffing, or removing. What I have yet to see anywhere in this game is any real care for the community as a whole. You have an issue with people being upset thst they can't get into groups due to not having a Gjallorhorn? How about instead of this nonsense you fix the ridiculous RNG that prevents them from having what they need? From what I've been led to understand the plot and storyline couldn't even be committed to before release and was changed. My only hope is that something better can be done with the new release in September. Because if it's going to be much like our first installment here, the only synonym that properly fits "Destiny" would be "failure" and others meaning the same. There's a quote. "Destiny is not a matter of chance; it is a matter of choice". So how about making the choice to make the game and it's universe truly better rather than just changing minor things from one extreme to the other all the time? Fix it. Peace out, girl scouts.

Thorn and The last word in crucible were the only things that needed to be fixed. The rest of the nerfs were uncalled for and goes to prove one thing to me. Bungie cant come up with new GOOD weapons so they have decided to nerf all the old good weapons in an attempt to force people to use the new crap weapons that will be released. I have no interest in playing once the changes take place. Straight killing this game to please the crybaby noobs.

Stopped reading after Destiny is not creative or original. We can be salty about changes but don't be ridiculous about their talent

People are too quick to flip out. Since we can't try out these changes until September, so many are confident to complain without any experience with the tweaks. Almost all of the tweaks are unquestionably POSITIVE changes and you still complain. ARs: needed a buff. Even before the nerf, Suros was easy to outgun with any handcannon. The only reason it started popping up all over the place in pvp was the AR headshot IB bounty. Shotguns: Getting one shot by the right felwinter's lie from further away than a universal remote is obviously broken. Snipers: Final Round is a PvE perk now, get over it. RL: Increased blast radius needed to happen. Tweaking G&H along side that just makes sense. Scouts & PR: minor changes that make sense and further put them into their intended weapon type effectively. Hand Cannons: No more sniping with pistols from sniper perches across the map you say? Excellent. [u]Exotics[/u] Nechrochasm: was useless. It's been bumped to have same ammo capacity and firefly effect as any standard legendary in its class. Don't cry OP just yet. Hard Light: Sexy gun, now potentially a viable option. Finally. Ghorn: Without knowing damage reduction of wolf pack rounds, I think it's safe to say it will still have the highest damage output of any RL. IceBreaker: So you have to actually use another weapon for 18 additional seconds. GASP! Thorn: Effectively knocked it down a notch for PVP, while effectively buffing it for PVE. sweet. Hawkmoon: every one is dead before I get to my final round anyway. TLW: Made even MORE effective at close range? Fantastic. Spend ONE day practicing that hip fire and you be killing 2-3 guardians per mag. Seriously. The only huge nerf here is Black Hammer. We'll see about that when it happens. But otherwise, those are all positive changes. I have all of these weapons and speak from experience. I'm looking forward to the 2.0 tuning. You'll rage quit or get used to it when it drops. But for the next 2 months feel free to complain without any experience with the tweaks. Have fun with that.

Bungie says they won't do match making because random groups can't handle the harder game modes. They point us to Destiny LFG and places like it. People go on there and request players with Ghorn. Bungie then loses it's mind.
