6 RepliesSeems I moved from Thorn to Gheleon's Demise at the perfect time. Icebreaker... Meh, you're usually camping if you're using it. 3 seconds longer per bullet isn't that much. Gjallarhorn nerf? Meh, you don't need it for Crota Hard, Atheon Hard, Skolas, strikes or PvP, so that doesn't really matter. The Hardlight buff... No damage falloff? Might be time to pull it out of the vault, along with Husk. And thank god for TLW nerf.

1 ReplyI feel it's fine the fix to black hammer was needed hand cannons should not hit you from across the map auto rifles are back the gally won't be hit that hard but it will still be the best rocket launcher in the game

3 RepliesIsn't thorn usleless for pvp! It's burns do 2.5 damage until it start stacking them and u only get about 3 shots putting its burn back to 8 Dante only after u have gotten three shots. This makes thron a four shot in pvp now!

I believe it has enhanced the PvE and PvP experiences by allowing players to experience the fullness in each battle and match in the Crucible without having to be picked apart by people because they don't have the crutches that pure noobs have. Cough cough Gjallarhorn and Thorn chough cough.

5 RepliesAll of it seems justified except for icebreaker, black hammer, fusions and legendary handcannons that werent justified because lets face it, its only the exotic handcannons that needed the fix, not the legendaries. Has anyone whined about word of crota being OP? Or Red Hand 9?

I agree with almost all the changes. The ones I do not agree with is the damage reduction to shotguns because they just got their damage back. Nerfing range a bit is fine however. Boosting No Land Beyond's aiming speed I feel is going to backlash to it being the go to gun for crucible. The only real thing about the update I am angry about is the fact that still Pocket Infinity has no fix planned. The fushion rifle is perfectly balanced after they took the quick reload away but the "broken" fire mode it enters into after too much use renders it nearly useless until you unequip/re-equip. I would have hoped they would have fixed it by now because since it has just become a place holder in my vault.

It's really not that hard to comprehend or understand and personally I actually agree with most if not all of the nerfs. Sure I'll be sad to see my shotgun and Gjallar not be as effective, but having used them both a lot, I understand why they are changing them.

The general weapon-type changes all sound great, and will hopefully add variety back to PVP. A little disappointed about some of the nerfs to specific weapons, such as Black Hammer, Hawkmoon and Ghorn. Weapons that I have been hoping to [i]eventually[/i] receive, and now when I finally do, I won't be experiencing them in all their glory that others have enjoyed during year one. To be clear, I'm not complaining, I accept that these changes were probably required. But will finally dropping a Ghorn be as epic when it is no longer the ultimate exotic? Sigh.... Oh well, sh!t happens.

I'm okay with it mostly but they turned Hawkmoon and BH to trash. thorn will survive as will tlw and actually both got a buff in another part of their mechanics while getting the range taken care of. I'm happy Hard Light got some love, love that thing and been in my vault way to long. I'm actually disappointed what they did with PR's though.

Feels good to see exotic handcannons and shotguns getting their well earned nerf. Auto rifles buff finally! Rarely see em at pvp Scout rifle, nah they are just fine as the are now. Jellyhorn?! Idk why it's an exotic and mostly used at pve they dont have to nerf it. And i gonna love the NLB even more after the patch <3

2 RepliesSolid patch for the most part. Decreasing all handcannon magazines was a bit to much (my redhand has luck in the chamber and last round so it might be good there). If necrocasms magazine size is 70+ now it'll be a good pve weapon to use, for PvP it needs just a little bit more..

1 ReplyI love the new balancing they're doing I read all the patch notes and they all seem pretty solid but I gotta say why do anything to fusion rifles? I'm not too clear on what they're doing as far as fusion rifles go but here's to hoping the patch get rid of blink shotgunners

1 ReplyMeh ill wait and see how it pans out. Im not god at games or stuff but i have banged out fps for years (probably got close to a years worth of game time since cod4). I just feel comfortable in fps pvp situations yeah my kd aint great but im no try hard and i play for fun. That being said i get the jist that lots of destiny players (well people that post on here) havent invested much time in fps shooters. Some of the dregs in crucible are quite bad and i feel as if them being bad makes em feel that guns are op. I get the thorn could be seen as op along with a few other hand cannons but long and short of it regardless of what gun someones using against you if you let them get uncontested shots on you then a death is acceptable imo. People moan about shotgun range and deaths from them etc. Wtf is a shotgun good for if it cant one bang you in cqb. Obvs sometimes the felwinters can be a pain in the butt but truth be told they have to make that shot count or the epicly elderly reload time will give their enemy a huge advantage. Getting one shot from a sniper again i can see that it can frustrate people but it dont happen every single time and man its a sniper rifle what else is it good for if not for being powerful. I just think regardless of what they nerf or what not you cant nerf a next persons skill level so i fear there will always be people moaning on these forums. If some one straight up out guns me it is what it is man, time to respawn and try something else. At the end of the day these guns are supposed to kill you so when i die from em i cant complain too much if anything i should get better/ try a new angle. And in regards to people who demand lvl 34 maxed gally for any activity you guys are scrubs man. Not once have i or anyone i play with demanded this all we ask for is a mic so we can communicate and overcome! Anyway rant over ima still play and see what happens peace guardians
