Please can you tell me if this time The Taken King will have a optional matchmaking ???Yes or Not ?
I am a little more then pissed off about the fact that i can't complete Vault of Glass,i can't complete Crota,i can't play Trials of Osiris,i can't play Prison of Elders 34,35...So just how are those of us that are Solo Players suppose to get all necessary completions to get the Triumphs rewards ? Don't tell me to find a fireteam, I don't have the time in real life to go out and waste my time to find a group of players that I can trust to cover my back...Why there are not activities for those of us that are Solo players ? I would like to know why I can only get half of what I paid for ?
This game needs a optional matchmaking !!or LFG system directly into the game !!
I paid the game,i paid for Dark Below,i paid for House of Wolves but i can't play....
This time The Taken King will have it ? you will add it optional matchmaking ??
Just say Yes or Not...
If not no problem,i will definitely stop to play this game.

Waste your time looking for a team? By now everyone(almost i guess) should now what to do in those raids. It'll take you less than 5 min to find a group to complete it with.

I'm a solo player and like many others have to use the forum and you know what it actually works better then in game mm because you can find teammates who fit your play style. Yes it can be a hassle but if you copy and paste to all of the vog hard forums within 5 minutes the invites and messages will start flying in.

While I don't foresee full matchmaking to be in the game when taken king launches, I think that it's probably a safe bet that they'll do something along the lines of PoE for the dreadnaught raid. As in have an entry level easy version of the raid that is matchmade, something to whet your appetite for the main raid. And fyi, the game is not aimed at solo players, quite the opposite in fact. Bungie want players to build lasting relationships with other players, something that just isn't really possible with matchmaking.

Imagine someone joining on Crota and he needs 3 more hits, it's a level 31 on hard mode who has no clue what to do. He joins in and walked right out into the open because you guys most likely would not have had any communication there, now you're all dead and have to start all over. 2. Imagine in trials, you manage to get a good team, you go 8-0 and then one of your guys lag out. Not to worry! A level 32 joins who has blue guns. He's obviously no help except to revive. Wrong, he rushes out there thinking he's Rambo. you don't go 9-0 all because of him And the lag. With a forums/lfg team. 1. You choose what you want and don't want. You can choose to invite certain people who have that skill you're looking for, or wether it be a gun. It's still something that you wanted. Sure it may take longer but it's definitely worth it in the end. 2. Now with trials, you could get some guys who know what they're doing while having fun with it all. You can get a thorn/warlock only team if that's what you wanted. You can get a team with over a 1.00 KD. The point is, you can't choose your team with optional matchmaking. But with the lfg/forums you are in control

I completely understand the frustration. While the game was sold as shared world multiplayer shooter the amount of content walled off from genuine solo players is ridiculous, was never mentioned beyond raids, and will only increase with each DLC expansion. I'm not advocating making everything available to solo players, raids should never be match made, but LFG isn't for everyone.

Lfg is the only method we have, so if you haven't done these things that is your fault. So if you want sympathy, look in the dictionary between shit and syphilis because that's the only place you're going to find it.

When they aren't on I do lfg. Never in my almost 1200 hours have I Sat and wondered why I cannot find people to play with. So suck it up or shut up.

Hello! While I appreciate the pain of solo players who yearn for end-game matchmaking, there are plenty of methods to find players, most of which take less than 10 minutes. Try the forums, or any Destiny LFG site. I've used them several times and it's rare that you end up with people who are incompetent. Unfortunately, until Bungie implements a native endgame matchmaking, that is all I can suggest. I hope that helps.

http://www.destinylfg.com Use this you'll have a team in minutes. Also optional match making. You can't trust a team to watch your back. What makes you think these guys in optional match making will watch yours? The amount of times I've done a vanguard strike or weekly heroic strike and the guys helping hide or run about and die. They waste your time. Chances are your only going to have problems in Matchmaking for this service. Best to search yourself an choose who you want.

Optional matchmaking would be nice, but really in the time it took you to make this post you could have found a sick fireteam. This post itself probably will find you a fireteam so technically you did exactly what you said you don't have time to do but while you were at it you had a solid request for info! ;)

People were aware, and it takes minutes to find a group on the forums through the app, so in less time then it took to write that you could have had a group, stop being lazy. If you want solo there is call of duty and fallout.

I agree. If the new expansion does not have optional matchmaking I will discontinue playing. Optional matchmaking is the key word. The players who like coming to the forums, third party websites, have a great fireteam, then they do not have to participate. For individuals who want to participate then it is a great convenient way not to spend 30 minutes or more trying to find a group in the forums, convenient for individuals who do not like to add strangers to their friends list, and provides full game experience for people with either preference. There is optional voice, shouldn't there be optional matchmaking as well?
