Why would you [i]not[/i]..
If one of those guns helps gets you the most kills, why would you decide to use another gun that is worse? You get more marks for wins, more kills likely gets your bounties done faster, your kd goes up or at least doesn't go down. Pretty simple decision to use the best guns at your disposal.

What if you actually do worse with those weapons, though? I've tried Thorn and Last Word numerous times, yet I end up putting them back in my Vault later because I find myself underperforming with them as opposed to other weapons. I can get more kills with my Fulcrum and Hawkmoon than I could with them. Maybe it's because I'm not used to the high rate of fire. Can't aim them properly and pace the shots.

Do worse on purpose? Not once in my post did I say I can't win or get kills, because I can. It's just annoying and I would think it would be more fun for everyone if other guns were used.
