Do you need 365 weapons to run the level 34 prison?
I have a maxed exotic, but the rest are 331.
I'm a pretty descent player and have had no luck with nightfall drops.
Haven't run the prison at 34 yet.
Was wondering What my chances are ?

It helps but you don't at all NEED 365 weapons. ESPECIALLY this week, this is one of the more fun and easy round 5 bosses, so get in there and run it to get your etheric light. Then you WILL have a 365 weapon, or 2. If you have 3 characters run them all thru the 34 prison. If you're on XB1 and need help, I'll gladly run you just msg me if you see me online or thru the forum. I ran 2 of my 35 skolas runs already, so I hvae one skolas and then 3 level 34 prisons to run. My bro and I usually do the 34s in like 40 mins or so. If you see me on hit me up, if u on XB1.

Yes 365 Gjally, 365 Black Hammer and Found Verdict and 365 Fatebringer, Vision, Word of Crota or else booted just joking We did it with 3 34s and Dark Below weapon stats, no biggy

Btw- I run the vault once a week on hard if anyone wants to jump in. And am looking to get in on Crota on hard mode as well ( done regular a few times , but never hard )

Great! I appreciate all of the non-condescending tips and comments, as well as offers for assistance. I don't have a 'steady' fireteam so if anyone wants to hold my hand through a couple of runs, I'm on PS4 and play nicely with others ( as in, I can take direction well and can communicate pretty well) so hit up FrankenBanks

First time I beat the 35 I only had an exotic at 365, everything else was 331. It can be done. It will be harder, but it can be done.

I ran a 300 VoC, 331 Black hammer, and 331 Hunger and I do fine. Even use the 300 found verdict and 331 oversoul eddict. No issues at all.

1 ReplyI had no trouble with 300 weapons, so probably not. Unless you use Atheon's Epilogue. Then you might want that 365 ;)

It helps. I did it with a 300 VoC ny first time. Ascended it right after.

365 only makes it easier..just stay in the back and kill enemies from a distance.

Think about it, a bunch of 33 ran the 34 when PoE first came out, I was using a 300 fate bringer and it took as an hour and a half to complete it all, so yes

2 RepliesThe damage difference is roughly 10%-13% between a 331 and 365, closer to 10%. So no, you don't need 365s to be effective in PoE 34. To put this in perspective, all the week 1 34s did this as a 33 with 331s at most. I was using a 300 ATK VoC / Fatebringer / 331 Fang, didn't have a Gjallarhorn at the time.

It helps my undersranding is 331 does max damage on level 33 enemies, then drops off. That being said you should be good, especially this week. I think its one of the easiest ones

My first one was with all 331 weapons so yeah it's doable.
