Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag
I've been playing destiny for so long that I was ready for something new. I always went to the store to see if anything was interesting. The last free game from Xbox Live Gold was Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, so I thought, "heck, might as well."
I cannot stop playing this game. I get on Xbox One thinking I'm going to play Destiny, but then I see ACBF's logo and I immediately start playing it.
Agree, or disagree? Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag is one of the most fun games I've ever played.

Funny how one of Ubisoft's best Assassin's Creed games has a main character who is never at any point officially a part of the Assassin order. I'll have to stop playing soon. About to get 100% Sync (never had the current-gen version until this past week). Just waiting for the last few fleet missions to finish so I can get that last treasure map.

1 ReplyAC3 made be give up the franchise. Finally played through 4 in May and absolutely loved it. My retroactive goty. The ending was so good I felt like I couldn't play it anymore so I never beat the legendary ships which was a main goal throughout the game for me.

2 RepliesI hated AC4 with a passion. THAT game killed my love for Assassin's Creed. However, I've been thinking of picking it up again, just for kicks, and do a small "re-review" of sorts.

It was pretty great sucks can't 100% it because ubisoft servers are down for anyone with more than 50 friends

I have my jackdor fully upgraded (praise the internet for chest locations) and pistol swords + golden flintlocks and the Mayan and Templar amour

6 RepliesI played unity recently and i was disgusted at the amount of glitches and bugs in that game, i'm scared to play black flag to be honest, even if it's free, i was thinking about nerverwinter, it looks sweet and fun. dont get me wrong, i think the AC games are great but poorly tested

1 ReplyIf it weren't for the post-game, it'd be on roughly the same level as AC3 as the worst AAA game ever released. As it is, if you just suffer through speedrunning the main "missions" as quickly as possible to get to the good stuff it's actually enjoyable. The only AC I've 100% completed to get the ghost crew. I wish you could reset strongholds like you can in Far Cry though. At 100% completion you literally have nothing to do anymore but run around randomly killing guards or blasting ships for no real reason.

Totally agree!! It's great just be out in the open seas exploring, with the men on the ship singing and the whales jumping around!! 'Mazing!!

2 RepliesAssassins Creed 4 is one of my Favorites closely behind Rogue and LEAGUES behind AC2. I loved every moment of that game. The multiplayer is really cool and completely different to what most are used to. Enjoy that game as much as I did!

It is amazing, i was not expecting to really like it (i was unsure about the whole pirate thing), but it blew my expectations out of the water (pun intended). It really wasnt an assassin game though, but i am ok with that, it was a nice break for the series. I very much enjoyed the game, and kind of wish they would have made a few more story based dlcs.

1 ReplyWhen you look at the game without a title, it's great. But then when you look at it with the title "Assassins creed" it isn't as good. There are great features in this game, and it is by far one of the best pirate games, but it just lacks basic things from assassins creed games (like actually being an assassin).

I got Black Flag with my PS3 super slim - would never get it otherwise because the entire series is exactly as CoD, same thing over and over again. At least sailing was fun for couple of days but still AC is one super boring stuff.
