27 RepliesYour identity is your own and you have every right to choose to identify as who you feel you are. It's only respectful to treat someone as who they identify as. Caityn is a "she". Not "it" or "he", "she". Your genitals typically dictate your sex, not your gender. Gender is social and psychological. I can explain this more if people want to better help with understanding.

25 RepliesObvious troll is obvious. And for some reason I still posted... Bruce Jenner is now Caitlyn Jenner. Her choice does not affect you, I promise. Her genitals or "gear" resemble female sex organs more than male sex organs (although that is not an indicator, AT ALL). She is no longer producing testosterone via her testes because she no longer has testes. She no longer has functioning male sex organs. She now has breasts. Those are the societal norms for gender determination among adults. Honestly, though? It's her choice. The thing that I don't get is that we socially persecute and shame people for being true to themselves. That's really, really f**ked up! We live in a world where we are encouraged (by pretty much every facet of society) to present an ideal. A culturally generated image of "beauty" and "gender." That's a really narrow view to take on gender. Some animals (and yes, Humans are animals) have more than two sexes. Some creatures have no true sex and reproduce asexually; we identify them as "female" due to our binary definition of gender, as well as other biological reasons (mainly, if there were males at some point but they've been biologically phased-out). Then again, I'm an idiot for trying to explain something like this to someone like OP. You're a troll. You don't "do" the whole reason and logic and facts and science stuff. Or maybe you're just sexually frustrated and afraid to "be yourself." Either way, I pity you Metal Storm. I truly pity you, what with your narrow worldview and fear of things you don't understand. It must suck to be you. It must really, really suck.

I have a friend going through a similar situation and I have to say, he's pretty normal to me. I won't disclose his GT or name to avoid any attacks since he had a few before. If a guy I know who believes he was born into the wrong sex should have the right to change it. People used to say gay people had a mental disorder too and what happened? It's legal. People will cry acceptance all they want but at the end of the day you're either male or female. Gender roles and gender are NOT a social construct but the opposite. Society was created around the gender roles that early civilizations followed and nobody cried about it then.

Personally I identify as an AR-15. It's a struggle. People always tell me how overpriced I am and how much more rugged and reliable an AK is. Why do I have to be as reliable? I'm me.
