Is Halo a Satanic game?

I've been thinking about this for some time now, I've considered it, but can't make many connections with the Halo series. Halo seems to be based on at least one of the 3 popular Semitic religions, (e.g. the "Ark of the Covenant", "The Covenant(Covenant of God)") and the list goes on. One thing that is the most obvious clue of them all, when ever the series mentions "The Covenant" the characters immediately indicate it is the opposing side of the humans, the enemy of them. As you know the humans in the game are usually associated with the U.N.S.C.(United Nations Space Command.) Assuming this is a direct reference to the actual U.N.(United Nations,) This is another clue to Halo's secret. The U.N. and other organizations, are usually associated with New World Order conspiracy theories. Often the NWO is not propagated in a positive manner, therefore, I can only conclude that this game indeed has some sort of secret or something. One problem, with the flood, arbiters, 3 prophets, ect. ect., this makes the whole conspiracy theory nothing but confusion. Definition of "Arbiter;" ar·bi·ter (ärb-tr) n. 1. One chosen or appointed to judge or decide a disputed issue; an arbitrator. 2. One who has the power to judge or ordain at will: an arbiter of fashion. See Synonyms at judge. [Middle English arbitre, from Old French, from Latin arbiter, of Phoenician origin; see rb in SEMITIC roots.]

 • Conspiracy theorists need to conspire to sacrifice themselves in a volcano in order to save the world from all its imaginary evils.

 •
Posted by: A complete idiot Is Halo a Satanic game?
Wow.... Just wow.... How long did you have to think to come up with such a stupid, uneducated, unfounded, fictitious, inappropriate question? Does the box come with the phrase "Worship Satan" written on it? No. Does the game contain any dialogue concerning Christianity or any other human religion? No. Are there pentagrams drawn on the walls? No, of course not. As soon as I saw the words "Conspiracy Theory" in your post, I knew that you were a nutjob. The games' canon is fiction. There is no simpler a way to describe it. You, sir, can take your conspiracy theory and shove it where the sun don't shine. It really amazes me how stupid people can be....

 •
Posted by: Mutoid Log The series does indeed portray religion negatively. The message Contact Harvest delivered was that a religious juggernaut wil do anything to prevent it's collapse, including killing everyone who can prove they are wrong. However, you missed the truly important religion-related thing the games tell. The Forerunner history, from human point of view, was like this: The Flood threatens to kill all life. The Gods take the humans, along with other species, safe to the Ark. The humans survive the Flood, but have to leave the paradise on The Ark and go back to Earth. Pretty much every religion/mythos on the planet contains a Great Flood myth. The games explain why this is, and also why humanity went through a bottleneck 100 000 years ago and started rapidly developing.
You make an interesting point except where you said that they have to leave the paradise on The Ark and go back to Earth. That doesn't correlate with the Biblical Flood account. In the Bible, the ark wasn't some sort of paradise. I'm sure Noah and his family were glad to get of the ark and get back on dry ground considering there were all sorts of animals in there with them and that it probably smelled awful inside of the ark. The Halo story definitely has things in it that were taken from the Bible and it's not just a coincidence. Obviously there are many aspects that don't match up with what's written in the Bible, but I definitely agree with many of the theories posted here. However, I don't believe that the game is satanic. Whether or not the story is pro-religion, poking fun at religion or neither is a question that is difficult to answer.
How am I an idiot? it's true isn't it? you just made yourself look like a complete arse, along with the rest of your evolutionist friends who don't even know the basics of the evolution theory, or what bible prophecy has predicted and has come true. To say religion is false when you never have thoroughly tried to debunk it makes you like a complete dumb -blam!-. I'm not "forcing" religion down anyone's throat, you guys have been watching that fraud of a movie Zeitgeist far to many times. From now on, I ask for mature people to reply only, I could give two -blam!-s less if "it's just a game" to you, don't even bother posting if you're just going to say that it's nothing but spam.
