Halo has felt more polished (excluding 4 and MCC). But I like the Destiny format better of make and build a character into the universe. Reach's story and 4s Spartan ops did some of this, but I would have liked to see that kind of concept expanded with a full custom character campaign, regularly updating side/progression missions, and some form of free roam. As well as equivalents of raids and PoE. Destiny will look a lot better in time, with refinement. One of the main issues currently is the conflict between PVP and PVE modes. A majority of changes seem to be because of pvp but the majority of the impact seems to be on PvE. Balancing both modes may be a lots cause depending on the coding. As such it may be in the games best interest to remove pvp from the game and reintroduce it at a later date as an independently coded game mode.
