  • Hello JohnBoy, The yellow health bar is unrelated to any particular elemental damage type. It means they have double the resistance to everything and increased health. Unless there is an elemental Burn of some type on your particular activity then the only thing you can do is blast away with your most powerful weapons. The only things that take increased damage from elemental damage types are the shields of certain enemies. You can see the damage type they take increased damage from based on the color of their shield.

Hello, No specific type does extra damage to Yellow Health Bar enemies. Those damage types are used only for shields (the color of the shield tells the damage type) and burn modifiers Purple Shield (Minotaurs, *Psions) - Void Blue Shield (Captains, *Knights, *Harpies) - Arc Red Shield (Wizards, Centurions, *Shanks) - Solar *With Epic Modifier

    • None, yellow means armoured and takes more damage to kill whilst reducing incoming damage

Gjallarhorn Beyond that it depends what yellow bars in what activity. Assuming you are a new player and don't know much about the game, you generally want to match the weapon element to the shields for maximum shield penetration. If the enemy doesn't have a shield (servitors for example) the element doesn't matter unless there's a burn active. If there's a burn active you generally always want to use weapons with the burn.
