PS3 users, why aren't you upgrading?? You've had a few years now.. Same with XB players.. Just wondering what the deal is.. Personally once I upgraded I couldn't go back.. Controllers sucked and felt cheap and the graphics just felt terrible
Edit: 239 posts.. Good shit people
Edit 2: 659 posts.. Also, people must realise that this generation console is almost half the price of when ps1 and ps2 when it originally came out.. Ps2 for me was $1200 when it was out and where I am Ps4 was $600 launch day.. For me that's a win.. But not everyone can afford one, very much understood fact

1 ReplyI would have to buy 2 of them. My wife plays Destiny along side me. So maybe holding off for a bit lol
-
2 RepliesEhh. Don't exactly need to. I would love to upgrade but I'm saving up money in regards to furthering my education after college. Applications and testing for the schools I plan on going to is where my money is being put right now. If I get accepted these next few months, I'll probably upgrade this Christmas.

Destiny was going to be my excuse to buy a next-gen console. All the initial ads listed just next-gen availability. But then they started announcing it for current gen, so I decided to save some money. Now I wish they would have made it exclusively for next-gen. It probably contributed to them cutting content, and has admittedly contributed to their ability to add stuff to the game (e.g., vault space). Destiny 2 will undoubtedly be next-gen, and several friends are playing ESO and enjoying it, so I foresee a new console in my future.

Waited for xbox to fix their shit and they did. So I'm concedering one now
-
I havent upgraded because i dont have the money. If i had the money i would do it asap but i dont

2 RepliesXbox One has been out for 20 months in Australia and you can buy them in bundles with games for $499.. If you put away $25 a month since release you could buy an Xbox One today Thats $6.25 a week.. Even so it was announced well before the release date so lets say you put away money when it got announced you could have put away $3 a week and bought an Next gen console still. Personally i dont see there to be a real excuse but in saying that money isnt an issue for me, so each to their own.

Edited by SaberDragon20: 7/16/2015 10:16:34 PMAll my friends are on last gen but once backwards compatibility launches I should upgrade then since there will be cross platform servers I think Edit: and I do have Xbone theme just aren't enough good games yet
-
I have both but my friends hang on the 360. Plus there are no good games for next gen yet, but that will change come September.
you look cute today
-
I got bills I gotta pay soim work work work everyday. I got mouths I gotta feed. money dont grow on trees bro I can bearly afford destiny dlc never mind ps4
-
Why would I rebuy destiny when idk if I even wanna but the doc the game is so stale and I haven't seen anything I want for ps4 yet so why spend the money.
-
2 Replies2 kids and a real life kiddo. I don't have mommy and daddy to buy me everything
-
But not everyone can afford one, very much understood fact
Glad you understand though
-
I wanted to get I but at the moment it's hard cause over stuff is kinda important so...
-
It's too expensive for me, or else I would. Not everyone can afford a new console and pay for psn every month
-
My friends are on 360, so i am. I will upgrade when they upgrade.
-
Being poor having bills and all that, I decided when it first came out to wait let the bugs be fixed. Now it seems stable but I wasn't going to buy it till I saw fallout 4, so now I must have one or I'll die.
-
Money. I'm a kid and don't have a very well income. But I am trying to save up. If you didn't need play station plus to play I'd be more urgent to upgrade.
-
1 ReplyCould I have a link or somthing to that 1200$ ps2? Lol
-
5 RepliesEdited by BERSEKAEL: 7/16/2015 8:56:48 PMPs2 was on the market for about 18 years... is good to buy a new gen on launch, so you can enjoy it longer for the same price. Edit. 13 years on the market!
-
I upgraded to ps4 last year around this time. Best decision I've made
-
Maybe because there hasn't been a true next-gen game yet. And that's coming from a guy with a PS4.
-
No real reason to upgrade No job right now (20 yrs old) No reason to save money Its all going to change before november :)
