Is anyone else sick of waisting their time with Skolas to get nothing?
So I ran the 35 last night and completed it in under 2 hours pretty decent IMO. We Killed Skolas and what do I/we get aside from the Etheric light and the weapon/armor core? You guessed it, Nothing. Wouldn't be so bad if I at least got the elder cipher, but I didn't get anything. Same for the rest of the Fire team.
Now Bungie I'm asking you this... so please tell me, why in the hell should I/anyone waist my/their time with this so called "Hardest activity in the Game" if I/we dont get s**t in return.
I'm normally not one to complain but seriously WTF! I understand you all are working on the TTK but you should invest some time into fixing the BROKEN reward system with POE its complete S**T! Rant Done.
So how about that nightfall this week, going to be a blast!

A weapon that does extra damage to "shanks" or that does "bonus" damage to dregs. Go fuc urself kid cry about it to ur mommy!!! And the nightfall is easy if ur gnna cry about how hard that is too on ur next forum post then u need to find a dffrnt game because Destiny isnt for you!!!!!!!!!!!!

2 RepliesIve never set foot in any round of the 35 poe. Nobody ever gets anything worthwhile so ive never even tried. The only reason im thinking about trying it is to get the year 1 emblem.

Literally the [i]only[/i] reason Im doing Skolas now is to help people get their moments of triumph done. After that I wont really bother, the drop rate is abysmal, considering the weapons are pretty bleh.

Agreed, that's why I only have 4 completions. I got a cipher my first run with each class and only one weapon dropped from him. A void six dreg, wish it was solar. It's a shame since going to Mercury guarantees you a weapon but nothing from skolas. I know flawless is harder but skolas no burns is tedious in its own right, especially with light switch modifier. I'll help someone on my friends list if they ask but I'm not going out of my way to do it since I got all the exotics from the ciphers.

I don't bother with Skolas anymore. I got all the ciphers and some of the elemental primary weapons that drop from him and TBH the elemental primary weapons that drop from him are all mostly shit anyway. Save for the Six Dreg Pride in solar damage (if you're lucky enough to get solar damage) not a single gun he drops is worth a damn, they are all low impact high ROF garbage.

Really. At least you aren't completely at the mercy at RNG. If etheric light was ONLY available through RNG? Think about it. As for the cipher... it's easier to get than Vex and Crux form what I've experienced. Some people have played VoG/Crota almost every week and haven't seen one/both of these drop yet.

After a few runs of nothing (besides cyphers) I gave up its just not worth it and it's getting boring. I have already upgraded all the weapons and gear I wanted to so i don't even need etheric light. It's actually disappointing at first I thought Poe was refreshing since it alternated some of the fights but it lost interest for me really fast. Maybe if they offered decent rewards it would feel worth it I feel like I get more doing crota in 20 min start to finish than I do in any of the Poe lvls.

same, i've beaten him 9 or 10 times and have a arc hand cannon and a arc scout rifle to show for it. On the weeks with small arms i dont even bother since i'll get nothing for it

1 ReplyI've had weapon drops from it but not element ones. I got her mercy on my last run just pointless. If it's not going to be a guaranteed weapon drop then when it dose drop them they should be element ones.
