Can we all just take a step back for a minute and look? We are playing a video game, which are, at their core, designed to be fun . Now, I have no trouble with finding groups for activities , I have accumulated many friends off of lfg, but I want to address your point in a calm and respectful manner. After all, it's meant to be about fun, and the only discussions that should be going on should be respectful and thought provoking. I will preface this by saying all matchmaking should be optional First of all, raid matchmaking . I think we should have matchmaking for lower level raids. This way, experienced players only run hard anyway, unless they want to help , and new players get to learn at an easier level. This way, the only people in matchmaking would be those looking to learn, and those looking to teach . PoE: I think matchmaking is not necessary as you only need to find 2 players, but I think there should be an option to stay in a group after 28 PoE if you want to tackle the others . Trials: Matchmaking in this event is a terrible idea . First of all, it would water the pool of competition , making good teams literally stroll to the lighthouse . Secondly , the reason it would water the competition is that there would more teams comprise of strangers that don't know each other's play styles or strengths . Communication would be harder . However, I think an lfg system should be in game for this so that you can find a group, practise a little and see if you play well together , and THEN enter trials . Nightfalls should have matchmaking as long as a player is level 32 or higher , with a grimoire score of 2300 +. This would mean everyone matchmaking would be of level and have some game experience . Again, I request any replies to be respectful and sticking to the point. I will not respond to a single reply that is disrespectful or insulting of anyone . I include OP in this , as he has already stated that people against matchmaking are full of hate and fear. I'm on his side,( I'm more in the middle ) but I don't insult people . What are your thoughts?
