Does the vex mythoclast only drop on first try in hard mode?

Ok let clarify this for you. 1. Yes it is an RNG drop 2. You have one shot each week per character 3. It is only available on hard mode 4. I hope you get yours soon it took me till TDB to get mine. Good luck

The drop can happen on your other attempts other than your first between your characters. I have experienced not my first runs on reset but my second and third runs on other characters have had the Vex drop. Unfortunately it is random so you will need to continue playing and luck will hopefully be on your side. Good luck.

Mine dropped after about 10 completions on hard. Since then it's dropped about 8 times

It all RNG. Players for the first time doing VoG hard is lucky to dropped Vex Mythoclast.

Haa people wish. No you have one shot per character a week to get it from hard atheon.

I got my Vex on my second run through. One of my clanmates got it a week or two later after many weeks of grinding the Atheon checkpoint.
