What urks me is that some of the end game content and mechanics were in the BETA version of the game, also if you played beta to lvl 20 all you got was a few emblems and a legendary weapon an had to start a new character. The PvP and PvE team requirements though are purely a marketing scheme and tie in to the affinity bungie has for LFG or forum based community gaming. The fact that you cant even view your grimore or medals with out this APP is proof positive they want their gaming community to be active on forums and the net to analyze how players interact on the virtual and real world while keeping the meta datas separated. This will give them an absolute edge in marketing, advertising and communication. I mean jus look at the Alpha Lupi advertising scheme that bungie put on to hype their own game.
