I'm a girl, I didn't raid for the longest time (unless it was with friends but they stopped playing before the dark below) it's nerve-wracking, that's for sure. I was so used to the call of duty mentality of "oh my god a woman's voice we have to verbally harass her" Once I started doing it regularly, it was fine. MOST of the time, everyone's chill, I don't talk much but they [i]usually[/i] don't freak out when I say something. However, it still happens. I would say 1/5 raid groups there's going to be someone who just can't function properly because there's a girl speaking. As for Nightfall, Trials and PoE... In small groups I can't even remember any harassment. I also talk more during them. I only get the occasional "woah cool I'm not sure I've ever grouped with a girl in destiny" which is fine, cuz it is rare.
