Honestly, Bungie. The single most upsetting thing about this game is the lack of response from you in the feedback forums. Can you please talk to us? What's the point of having a community manager who won't manage the community? The feedback forums feel like a garbage can with the words, "complaint department" written on it. Please, for the love of God, talk to us!
Are you working on the Vault space?
Are you working on the Crucible servers?
Are you working on weapons rebalance?
I could go on and on... But we just have no idea what's going on with you... Why won't you talk to us in the forums?!
If DeeJ won't manage the community's expectations, can we get a new community manager that WILL talk to us?
Honestly, 90% of the community's frustration with this game could be alleviated if we felt like Bungie cared. If Bungie would talk to us... If they'd at least acknowledge that they heard our specific problem... But giving us nothing but the Hellen Keller treatment is only fuel for the rage fire. Please, talk to us. Seriously.. Talk to us... Respond to your fans. It's really not that hard. A simple, "Yes, we know that's a problem, we're working on it" is ALL IT TAKES... a simple "Thanks for the feedback! We agree this is a problem, and we've got it on our list to fix." IT IS NOT THAT HARD! Silence is the most infuriating thing you could do. Stop it. Talk to us already.... Respond to your community.

We're adding a member to this team, and that announcement is coming soon, so please stand by. I hope you'll welcome that person as your ally - because that's their job description.
I am the new Community Manager DeeJ was alluding to in his response yesterday. I am looking forward to participating in this conversation more often. The designers pay a lot of attention to your feedback and I am going to be soliciting it here more often. We will try to do a better job at filling the gaps of silence.

6 RepliesEdited by TheLordCypher: 7/14/2015 12:50:55 PMBump. Remember how Bungivision treated us guardians the next time either of these corporations release a new game. I will remember and Pepperidge Farms REMEMBERS!!!! So me and Pepperidge Farms will never buy another bungie or activision game again.

'Are they working on making the story better' should be up there on the list.

3 RepliesThis game is unfixable. It has been a piece of shit game since launch b4 any bullshit update. The vanilla was shipped and sold as a chopped up mess. Nothing to see here but non stop end game grinding and regret. Even the expansions couldn't do anything. To all you fake ass gamers buying this garbage game now because all the expansions are on sale "your late". You scrubs are complaining about shit that has already been said since day one. Bungie has addressed some patches and guess what? They would just end up messing up something else. So welcome, you have just entered a cluster fuk of mishaps and desperation that has made the game almost unplayable to alot. Crucible is the only thing worth playing because of the decent shooter mechanics. How could you buy a game that gets shitted on all over the internet? LOL Do your fuking research! You should've stayed away. Can't return it now so take your copy to Gamestop, take your bullshit $15 credit and buy a game you KNOW you have a better chance of enjoying....................or wait for Fallout 4. That game will shit on EVERYTHING. Even your mom. So hop to it new guardians! The endless hamster wheel awaits you!

I agree I don't like deej he's too lazy and every time I see him post on here it really doesn't feel sincere about anything I understand that it's hard to manage this many people but if I got paid to do it guess what all day everyday I'd be out there boosting moral for this game which deej is clearly failing to do as the community manager I don't know if it's his job to boost moral but I feel like he just watches and when something becomes a problem he gives a lazy response that almost feels like a computer typed it up

5 RepliesThe community is only toxic because we feel our feedback goes on deaf ears. If DeeJ was an active part of the feedback community, he could easily change our tone. But he won't. The silence continues, and thus, the toxicity continues. This is a very easily fixable problem with simple involvement from our community manager.

1 Replydeej see's posts like this everyday, when he spends roughly 5 min looking over a couple topics. Then reports to the higher ups that "everything is fantastic in the community, people love everything about the game"... And so the silence continues. "Here at bungie, we gives zero -blam!-s about you and your opinion"

1 ReplyBungie have awful community relations. Just look at the lag in PvP and see how many complaints there is over the last year, now ask yourself has Bungie addressed this issue.
-
bump for the future fix of husk of the pit!
-
3 RepliesIs the husk of the pit being investigated? The world may never know.
-
Bump - Bungie even add anew community manager who won't even answer our questions. Why is it hard for a company to answer customers questions.

3 RepliesI can guarantee that vault space WILL NOT be expanded with TTK. Honestly I don't expect any further changes to the vault structure until D2 comes out. Expect most of our old weapons to become irrelevant with the release of TTK. Based on what we've heard so far from those at Bungie, the idea of being married to your weapons is not their thinking moving forward. Servers are crap. Expect it to stay crappy fir some time to come. Maybe an improvement with D2??? Hopefully

"Thanks for the feedback! We agree this is a problem, and we've got it on our list to fix."
https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/114521210/0/0 If you'd like a list, that's the one we maintain (and yes, it needs work). Crucible servers are not on listed specifically, but our team of Engineers are always working to improve the performance of the game. In recent Bungie Weekly Updates, we've alluded to communications about how Update 2.0.0 will address a lot of your concerns, including weapon balance. We'll be talking about all of that work in the weeks to come. I'm not citing these things to tell you that you're wrong. Just to point you in the direction of what you crave. Bungie cares. Bungie has updated Destiny dozens of times, and your feedback has been a driving force. I save those announcements for when the work is ready to discuss. I'd love to post more on the forum. The fact of the matter is that I'm spread too thin with all of the things that this community needs. Some of those things happen behind the scenes, but they're the sort of conversations you'd want me to have on your behalf. You're absolutely right when you say that you deserve more attention. We're adding a member to this team, and that announcement is coming soon, so please stand by. I hope you'll welcome that person as your ally - because that's their job description. In the meantime, keep talking. There are entire teams at Bungie dedicated to reading this forum and planning our workflow. Just yesterday, we gathered to discuss the major issues discussed here. It's a meeting we hold every week. It's an event we plan for every day. Please excuse me, because I need to get back to planning the next weekly update to address some your immediate concerns. Soon, friends. Soon. I'm sorry to keep you waiting, but help is on the way.

He got a pocket full of fcks, and guess what? U ain't getting any!

hi I am a ninja and deej so since we are crap at managing the communities wishes for the game we are just going to move this to #banned beacause we don't want it spreading

BUMP!! Hey, there's a free game called world of tanks. They take pride in CONSTANTLY RESPONDING, LISTENING TO, AND COMMUNICATING with their fans and players. You should see their post and updates to the community. Nothing but love. A free game...
-
Crucible servers are not on their list mate. Because there arent any. Its all p2p. If bungie/ activision actually would have dedicated servers the pvp would me nore stavlble and lag switching would be gone. But its cooperate greed. 500 million dollar budget and not even dedicated servers. That is why they dont do sh1t about pvp. Because they cant. Its like CoD. P2p. Some random is the host.

12 RepliesDeej is a joke. Less than 100 hours played and never beat the raids or PoEs. How can you manage a community when you don't even play the game?
-
3 RepliesOk normally i would agree, but deej is just one person. He isnt a super computer capable of answering every person's complaint.
-
2 RepliesI pretty much agree. No communication. I'm starting to think Deej has more than one job there besides community manager. I only see him comment once in a while and its never about what's going on in the game. Weekly updates do tell ya what's coming up with the big stuff, but what about the little stuff? Communication with bungie does kinda suck. If they spent more time talking back to the community, i think more people would respect them.
-
7 RepliesThey don't have time to explain why they don't have time to explain. That is the go to response for bungie.
-
1 ReplySome people just want to watch the world burn... |•••Bungie's life story•••|

They gave you an official response:
We have fanboys who paid 40 dollars for a shitty dlc and ready to throw money to screen. So, who cares about you? We got money, end of story
7 RepliesAll you people do is complain. How easy do you think it is to do Bungies job? I personally think they are listening, and have done a good job at it. Yes there are things that should be addressed. I would put servers on top priority. They can listen and not say a word until they know for sure that they can address the issue. It is a video game, they cannot snap they're fingers and 'poof' problem solved. Grow up people.
