Is it just me, or has lagging just become more and more popular in trials of osiris? Are these people really getting penalized? cause it seems like it's getting worse by the week.

I doubt no our reports is doing anything. I checked up on a few that we played in TOO that was cheating, those players are still playing. So idk
-
No lol. Bungie doesn't care.
-
Report them for cheating and bad connection. Those 2 options let bungie know they are lag switching.
-
Gotta report as soon as you see one or else they will keep cheating
-
Are you reporting them? If nobody reports nothing can be done.
-
Use the report system. And let me put it this way. If there are currently 100,000 cheaters in a community of currently about 4million players across both systems. That's about 2million players on both and 50,000 cheaters on both. If you report 1 from the system you're on there will still be a total of 49,999 cheaters on your platform.

3 RepliesYou can have anyone banned. All you have to do is throw money at the screen while saying ban this bitch.
-
Obviously not. They came out en masse last night.
-
1 ReplyIdk i gave up on even trying a long time ago bc i just wind up getting pissed bc of cheating and cheep shit dont want to break my tv by throwing my remote at it
-
It seems like it's been getting better over the last few weeks. This week was an exception as I saw quite a bit including one of those self-reviving hunters. But the last few weeks were fine.

8 RepliesI faced obvious lag switchers and saved the video. They messaged me with rude comments and ADMITTED to cheating. "Go cry you fat F***. Our lag switch didnt beat you it was your mommy" lol they really dont care most of them.
-
1 ReplyIf you check the gamertags in the cheating videos that often get posted on these forums and reddit you will see that they are still playing. From what i have seen it doesnt look like any of the known lag switching cheats have been banned. The only banning i have seen is for players that back out of trials by changing character, Bungie either doesnt know how to deal with lag cheats or they dont care :-(
-
No unless you float a dollar bill in front of their faces. Honestly ToO is now sh*t with all those lag switching.
-
they will get a one week ban and then they will come back the other week and do the same thing.

The simple answer to your question is yes. Bungie takes these issues very seriously. If you believe a player is manipulating their network setting to gain an unfair advantage, report it as such so Bungie can investigate the issue. If you'd like some more information of the in-game reporting feature, please feel free to learn more here: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12960 Hope this helps, StoryTV

10 RepliesEdited by SoIidus Snake: 7/14/2015 4:12:36 AMYes! To Bungies Credit I reported a player in PvP that was clearly cheating ( connection green until he got near other players then instantly red teleporting around killing everyone with his dance moves - top of the scoreboard etc ) I used the games in-built reporting tool , a couple of days later I got an email telling me that Bungie had taken action against that player. Good on them , credit where credit is due.

No they really arent. I keep seein em
-
Nope although got 2 free wins on one flawless run still. Good thing it didnt glitch and gave us a loss. I dont mind people who quit, free wins and Bulletproof. Lol
-
They're only banning the people who switch characters to drop out of a match. You can lag switch as much as you want with No repercussions. Thanks Bungie.

Doubt it
