(Media) How to beat Lag Switchers in Trials of Osiris (Please Bump so everybody can see it, thanks)

So we were on our Trials run currently at 7-0 (still with Mercy) and suddenly a team mate notices that the enemies take no damage at all. We have heard the stories and knew that we were playing against Lag Switchers and started freaking out.
They captured the zone and won the first round.
But after that we realised that we only had to stand closer to the flag then them to capture it.
So we went in and tried to push them off the flag, and staying alive at the same time.
And look at that, it WORKED we won the second round.
After that we also had a bubble up so and just bubbled the zone which made it even easier to stay alive and I also had switched to Solar Wind to push them out even more.
AND IT WORKED AGAIN we were now winning 2-1
After that they left the game LOL ;-D (8-0 for us)
We managed to win the last game too and made it to the Lighthouse
We became LEGEND !!!!
and the worst Nightmare of all the Lag Switchers out there.

6 RepliesI rarely play Trials but last night a couple of buddies offered to get me to the Lighthouse... So our first session - we were about 4-0 - came across a team - were winning 3 rounds to 0... when all of a sudden between rounds took longer to load... then we had 2 of their guys down, 3 of us alive and about to go in for the last one when.... yep, all 3 of us had connection problems... Baboon and another one.. then we went back into the match... then connection problems... then suddenly it popped up saying "Your Team Lost" - yep, we went and got a loss - no idea how :/ I am pretty sure something dodgy happened... as after that, not a single problem (other than our team not playing as good as we wanted to, so gave up after re-running a new card at 5-2).

2 RepliesNot directed solely at the OP but to videos like this in general. Why is it that people continue to shoot all their ammo at the people that take no damage? I can understand punching them in hopes of them getting launched into a wall and being killed by the architects or pushing them off of cliffs so they die by boundaries, but why waste bullets that can do neither?

10 RepliesTired of hearing lag - switch whining. Most of the time people cry about lag - switchers it's their own Kmart Internet that's screwing up the match. If you suspect cheating just report in game and support can [i]actually[i] tell if someone is cheating or not.

1 ReplyI see a lot of people cry lagswitch when actually it's just general lag. It really does look like those guys were lag switching, or doing something to exploit lag for their benefit. Which is why it brings me no small amount of happiness that you beat them.

I have 6 in my vault not farmed any either. I don't i only open 34s n 35s chests. I must just be lucky then i pick em up from the mini chests in treasure room a lot

I was playing Control and encountered one. The funniest thing was he was so bad that even with invincibility he still couldn't get in the top 3 on his team.

23 of 71 wins involved someone on the losing team going to orbit or quitting. Definitely a "biggy" cheater.

OMG this so so -blam!-ing ridiculous, they should be banned, but what does Bungie? Nothing, they just say Destiny is sooooooo sweet and soooo cool.... Has Bungie no workers hired to check something like that? It takes 5minutes and everyone knows that they are cheating.
