I'm not one to normally complain and whine on the forums, but this is out of hand. Last night I was doing my second flawless run for trials. I had already gotten the packages, so the only thing on my mind was the packages. We were 7-0 with the mercy used up, when we can across a team. Soon enough, it was 3-2 and we were winning, when I was attacked with a distributed denial of service (DDOS). I am 95% sure this was the case, but we wasted an hour and a half of tough games and teams, and it was all for nothing. My team mates reported them, but as far as I know people that get reported have nothing done to them. So I ask you Bungie, one simple thing: Take steps to prevent this from happening again. This has been a problem since the start of Trials of Osiris, and nothing has been done to solve it.

It's highly unlikely you got DDoS attacked through destiny. Bungie can't do anything against unfortunate disconnects. See the Network Troubleshooting if you encounter further connection problems.

If you figure out how to use the in game report feature from being ddosed offline, please let the rest of the world know. Especially BNGHELP.

I feel for your situation, if nothing else than because you get a response from BNGHelp only to find they apparently didn't read your post and applied a cookie cutter response. I read that your friends used the in game report system where you could not (since you were no longer in the game). I cannot provide any help, and I'm not sure if what you encountered was cheating. But it is sad to see that players are being brushed off with textbook responses that don't really apply to the situation.

Hi Bond -- If you believe you have encountered players who are manipulating network settings to gain an unfair advantage, please report them. Here's how: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12960
