Is prison of elders worth it?
All you get is stupid armor cores that give you shitty armor with strength. And weapon cores that give you stitty weapons. There is only a sliver of change of an exotic drop so is it really worth the long grind.
Also the exotics are fun to use but they all suck to be honest. (My opinion)

PoE was never made to be rewarding. It's just some boring and repetitive if not cyclotimic activity designed to keep PVE players busy until September. If you look at it just from the loot side, you can definitely argue that they thought shit loots were enough to keep all these players in until September... Shame they lost some players down the way, and I don't think they gained any! VOG was bugged but we didn't care. TDB proved bungie's raids are a joke designed so that everyone can glitch them. Challenge is just illusory. Glitches are a core component of a raid's development. HoW turned this game into a switch lagging competition or worse, left this game to an ocean of arrogant no lives who think they have skills because they open a chest, hence killing the only nice thing left to this game, a caring community. But do not worry, a fascinating adventure in a new universe, with new daily missions and patrols, new glitches and bugs is waiting for us, oups for you, on September 15th. Looking forward to activision's oldest fan Deej's upcoming updates for more insights on how this diminishing player base is going to work it's way to new boring levels in the TTK.

The majority of queens weapons are dupes of current faction weapons. Only they have less in the mag but yea they are just dupes. Datto sorted it out. Only thing worth anything in PoE is etheric.

I only play for etheric light and the roll rotates. One set does strength, the next set does intellect and so on.

I only do 32 for armor cores and the occasional 34 or 35 for etheric light. I have too many weapon cores as it is

Plus the zoo errors on last round with no checkpoint was the last straw for most of then. We've all hit a wall too with nothing more to do.

1 ReplyI only do 28 (if I have a key)...for 2 reasons. • Farm chests for coins/motes. • Sometimes an exotic drops. Otherwise, no. Never done 32 or higher. Not sure about those levels, but 28 is essentially a public event-strike hybrid stuck in 1/8 of a patrol zone. No randomized enemy spawns and only 3 events... - stop critical objective (kill target) - disable mines (defend warsat) - destroy mines (defeat extraction crews) The design team needs to put it "back in the oven".

I only do Poe to help my friends on 34 who don't play pvp, otherwise it was fun at first, but keeping it the same bosses is no fun, if they had the same bosses and each week did something different, i might try that

I play 32 and 34 but don't even bother with skolas, just isn't worth the time.

5 Replies2 Words: Check. Points. Must have before I'll even set foot in any prisons. IDC if the 32/34 are easy its endgame content, meant to be difficult/challenging, and all modes like that have checkpoints.

The rewards aren't worth it. All the POE weapons suck. The only thing I'd consider doing it for would be the Queens sniper rifle. And I have this cipher to complete, though I've been sitting on it for 2 weeks now. The weapons just aren't worth it.

To be an endgame experience, it lacks luster. It is one of the longest boss encounters I have ever been a part of. The unfortunate thing is I did not get to take him down before the burns were taken away. I guess i should get gud.

Lord of wolves is a PvE boss. The prison is fun once in a while as a change of pace. But the rewards are worthless and there's little reason to play it aside from said change of pace

1 ReplyNot for a long duration. Speaking for 32, 34 (never played 35). Pretty much what you already said, the weapons suck and the armor isn't all that great. I guess if you have no other way to get etheric light and need it. I just play Iron Banner for that.

1 ReplyEdited by SirLEEROYJENKlNS: 7/12/2015 8:24:40 PMYou dont have to buy the armor right away; it sucks but if you wait until weekly reset you may get a different armor without strength; Like for this week; my Warlock's and Titan's PoE boots contain strength through Variks so I didnt buy it; my Hunter however has a roll of Intelligence and Discipline no strength; so I bought that; just save your cores; wait for a good roll. Also i have 9 characters lol i got bored 3 accounts hahah
