What's the problem? Yes I wear it and use radiant skin for radiance, so yes I know how tanky it makes you. What I don't understand is when you're not in in radiance why are people complaining? Titans cry, "wah my shoulder charge doesn't 1 shot them." I've seen hunters say, "it takes me 2 golden guns shots to kill them." 2 words: Throwing Knife.
I don't see how this exotic is overpowered when it only requires 1 more shot/burst from the most commonly used weapons in pvp. Thorn users cry, "I can't double tap the head and run." Good because you shouldn't be allowed to do that anyway.
Stop complaining because your overpowered bullshit finally got countered. I'm looking at you thorn and shoulder charge. I play blade dancer and so the f**k what if it takes me more than one slash. I still kill the SoB and then move on to kill his friends. When I play gunslinger I follow my golden gun with a throwing knife and boom he's dead with me still having 3 shots left (acylophage.)
Shut up and learn to counter.
Edit: why is everyone so sore about my opinion? I play a dam hunter and the ram makes me slash one twice in arc blade, and it makes me follow a golden gun shot with a throwing knife. I'm not complaining about that and I'm still defending the damn helmet. I'm seeing more Titans cry about their no cooldown one hit melee getting countered finally. I still say it doesn't break anything, but instead makes you adjust your strategy when encountering them. I'm so sorry that I offend people who can't take change *insert sarcasm here*.

1 ReplyYeah I 100 percent agree! If they are in golden gun distance then they are also in throwing knife distance.

3 RepliesEdited by HELP1NG HAND: 7/12/2015 9:11:33 PMHere's a conversation that I would rather have: Why isn't The Ram a Titan exotic piece of armor? What part of the Warlock would make it the class able to have the highest armor rating? Titans wear such heavy armor, that the sheer mass of it can break stone. They are blunt force instruments, the physical embodiment of the Traveler's raw power. The Warlocks are even more powerful in some ways, but armor CERTAINLY isn't one of them. They wear a helmet and a shoulder pad, as well as lighter gloves and boots. So why doesn't the Ram, the only piece of exotic armor in the game which grants bonus armor, belong to the Titan? -Or, why doesn't EVERY piece of titan exotic armor grant bonus armor??

Edited by Psychosniper98: 7/12/2015 9:46:00 PM1 not everyone uses thorn 2 warlocks which were arguably the best class to begin with are now the only class that gets a chance to react to things that would have killed them otherwise 3 if ram isnt that good then how come so many players use it? 1 second to notice the titan that failed to kill you when he obviously blind sided you is all it takes to kill him instead

I don't even use my hunter I'm manly a Titan player I don't really care about the shoulder charge not killing you I think it's dumb that the hunters golden gun can't kill you though I just learned that today reading your post that it takes two golden gun shots to kill someone using the ram that's kinda BS in my opinion

1 ReplyI'm confused on the arguments vs. Fist of Havoc
-
I'm on your side man. I see all this hate you're getting but here is some love. The Ram still takes one shot from my snipers to kill so I don't care. My main is a warlock and I'd use nothing manacles over the ram any day.

6 RepliesThe point is the recovery class shouldn't outperform the tank class in armor. Its bad designing. And to only have something like that for warlocks leaves the other classes at a disadvantage. Make a ram for titans and hunters, or re balance the warlock base stats to not outperform the titan.
-
Are you brain dead? You are Mobile and can take two hits of thing that are meant for only one. Stuff like that should only be in suppers that happen fast and you have very little control in mobility. For example, Fist of Havoc, Novabomb, and many Ward of Dawn, but that would need to be discussed and sought through more. Ohh and before I go, if Titans got something like The Ram that gave more Armor to a Titan and that Titan increased there Armor to max so they were always as strong as a warlock in its sun skin radiant state, would that be ok?

Which I can see the issue, but like you are saying it's not an incredible amount. I've played with it as well, in those situations at most you have a single hairline pixel of health. Which if I have it right some of those you have to use sunsinger in which case you aren't getting use out of the recovery perk. People just aren't very good at speaking really. Often they say it's because titans are the armor class or something stupid. Is it balanced, in the context of how this game has been yeah it is. It's an exotic so it's not like you aren't giving up other things for it. Then there's the whole voidwalker requirement to use the exotic to it's fullest. Does it promote good game flow? I don't think so, but this game never played well PvP wise as far as I'm concerned.

You sheep bitch about the thorn now there is something to counter it a little bit and you bitch about that. If there are things in here that bug you to the point that you have to bitch about everything Then don't play get a life go fishing etc Hey folks it's only a game once this game is Old news The same sheep will bitch about a new game

4 words: Warlocks are real tanks. Guess who isn't? The Titan (AKA the tank class)

1 Reply2/10 for pretending to sound confused

Yes, there are counters. Just like there are counters to the Thorn, and there are counters to other OP things in all games. But that doesn't mean it isn't OP.
-
Agreed! People are such babies.

Noone should be allowed to do this https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=D2AiR1h4Fy4

5 RepliesShoulder charge is the titans only good melee, and the fact that someone not in a super can survive it isn't that fair
-
2 RepliesBecause people got it from xurs engrams. That's why it's bullshit.
-
2 RepliesWhy so warlocks can eat everything and recovery quick to? No -blam!- that
-
Very good point (I use thorn n when I go against someone with ram its really fun to use a three shot instead of 2)

3 RepliesTitans don't cry hunters do

26 RepliesEdited by FullSpe3D: 7/11/2015 9:31:56 PMQuick list of what you can live with The Ram and max armour: Shoulder Charge Flux Grenade Magnetic Grenade 2 bodyshots from Praedyth's Revenge or lower impact snipers 1 headshot from Subtle Nudge DN7 (yes it becomes a 2 headshot kill, lmao) Arcbolt nade + Thorn bodyshot Firebolt nade + TLW bodyshot (viking funeral/touch of flame) Golden Gun shot with Fireborn Radiance Headshot from LDR impact snipers with Fireborn Radiance 2 bursts of headshots from Red Death/Messenger archetype pulses Razor's Edge 3 TLW hipfire bodyshots 2 Thorn headshots 3 Thorn bodyshots If you think this is balanced then there's something wrong with you.

10 RepliesBecause people will complain about anything they lose against. If they didn't lose ever there'd be Mo complaining. Hell I'm about to write a post complaining about something that killed me and my friends extra fast.
-
9 RepliesWell I main a warlock and I have to admit it isn't right for a warlock to be more tanky than a titan. I said why not changed the increased armor to increased recovery that way it would go in tandem with the life steal perk and not make then super tanky

3 RepliesXD
If you agree bro, comment in rage!
I've never really noticed a difference... Didn't know people complained about it... I had to ask a teammate today if it actually makes a difference
