Hunter goldenOP: sybiote, young spine of ahamkara, bones of eao, crest of alpha loopie
Titan fist of panic: so many good variants not gonna list off
Titan bubble of underpoweredness: saint 14, no back up plans, crest of alpha loopie, no boots
So over all hunter would be stacked OP over every class regardless

Only one armor piece in each set you named would keep an exotic perk, the rest would temporarily be made into legendary status type armor. Look through each armor piece and you'll see how each has an exotic perk, take the exotic perks away and they're no better than legendary gear.

It wouldn't be OP because it would disable the exotic perks on 3 of the 4 exotic armor pieces. It would be the same as what were allowed to use now

What would the point of it be?

To be able to use whatever gear we want. If there's armor in the game we should be able to use it in any combination we want so we can look how we want. This only effects us in a cosmetic aspect, not making us any more or less powerful.
