Yes, I would hope that you would tell him that it is okay. Otherwise you are setting him up for a lifetime of internal confusion which is worse than the oppression he would see by wearing one. At least he would feel comfortable in himself.

You gotta return him. That kinda rubbish after 35 years is just unacceptable!!!! Its not even open to discussion.. Did you keep the receipt? I don't think you will have much luck with a refund without the receipt.

You could try if he were 3 or younger. A 35 year old may not fit.
