Unfortunately, because of the PVP/PVE marriage the changes to a weapon affects both. So, it won't happen. Ask Bungie to fix their game and totally separate the two, so that weapons can be buffed for PVE, the way they should be.

I mean, the weapon is supposed to be stronger in PvE. Anyone else remember the higher stats it had?
