I have gotten into the point in this game where I have legendary everything and...a majority of the exotics. Who else is in my position?
Edit: We are about to hit 500 replies! When I posted this I had no idea it'd get this big. Thanks everyone, and keep hitting me up with the opinions. I love reading them.
Note: I know there are a lot of people who have done this for a long time. I do it as well. I am just curious at who else does it and why.

I wear what I unlock. Playing five minutes with a rare gun or armor will give you more materials or parts.
-
Need weapon parts for reforging. Anything not yellow or purple is instasharded.
-
Dismantle every blue and green and take a little look at some legendary armor I get before dismantling 99% of them.
-
At this point I pretty much dismantle anything but exotics and raid gear and they only survive long enough to see if they have a better roll then the versions I already have. #VaultIsStuffed

I kept a shoot to loot scout rifle. The only blue i'll keep
-
1 ReplyI only kept one Stranger's Rifle. It's odd that it's a rare weapon. You'd think we'd be able to ascend it.
-
1 ReplyI have an explosive round sniper. For lolz

Edited by siiv: 7/16/2015 7:55:51 AMNah, some are really good for PvP
-
2 RepliesI only saved blue scouts w/ shoot to loot × 3
-
Only blue that i have not dismantled is the sniper with explosive rounds

Yep. Shame though, as some of the rare gear looks awesome. Sucks that we can only ascend legendary gear.

Been trying the Galahad-e in crucible. Very high impact for an auto

Who doesn't

Signed

I always check the snipers for final round first

11 RepliesI dismantle my blue engrams.. There really is no point, at this point in the game they're just taking up space and its a pain to decrypt
-
There are blue engrams in Destiny? #sarcasm

Been deleting blues on sight since late October.
-
I will usually keep one for each slot during my running around, then turn in my bounties with the Rares equipped if I am not trying to get xp on anything else. I would be burning the xp otherwise, and I could always use the extra weapon or armor parts for dismantling a max-xp Rare.

Edited by KannibalKlown: 7/15/2015 8:30:48 PMEven though I only started getting into the late-level stuff recently, I was doing the same for a while. Blindly dismantling anything Blue. But then I got a nice Blue helmet, really nice. I was saving up for a purple or gold helm (my last non-blue piece) and this Blue was kind of like a weak Obsidian Mind. A lot of defense for a blue, Inverted Shadow, and something else. Not bad to help tide me over until my good helmet. So I started keeping a closer eye on the blue's since then. Since then I've kept an Evergreen that I want to start using for PvP until I get something better.

I all bit do that with legendaries. If a new legendary wants to not become a mote of light, it better impress me in the first 5 seconds.

I always look at the stats and perks first. Some weapons are disgusting in the crucible with the proper perks. For example, there's a green Machine Gun called Xerces. It's possible that you can get Glass Half Full as a perk for it. Two shot kill in the crucible.

1 Replythe only blue I keep is a final round sniper 😈

Only weapons I like really are raid or exotics. I have loads of purple weapons in my vault that iv never even used. Will have to dismantle them soon for vault space

Everyone....
