I use to absolutely hate hate hate the thron n I wanted it removed but then I busted my hunters tail n got my thron. That is when I started my love/hate relationship n I grew to respect the gun n the ppl that can truly willed its power. In a avg. Players hands thron is no stronger than any pulse rifle but In the right hands its the gun everyone hates

I support this idea completely. You can't have a "balanced" and "level advantage: disabled" match of regular crucible with people using the thorn. Personally, i believe that "level advantage: disabled" and "thorn" are oxymorons, when used in the same sentence.

I think i understand where you are coming from. I have the weapon and never used it. Then I played Trials of Osiris and the Thorn was being used almost exclusively, save for a few Red Deaths, Last word, Hawkmoon. those were the majority of the Weapons in the game type. Now I have to stoop to new lows to compete with these savages in Trials. I don't think it would be wise to ban a single weapon from the PVP. Think of the example or precedent that sets. Who is to say what else gets banned.I have at least two better alternatives 1. They add a Caustic/Acidic or Poison Class/Modifier for weapons and or Guardians (although i think you will see this down the line anyway) 2. You start a petition for Bland PVP with basic Weapon load outs that have Exotic Weapons located in areas throughout the stage (James bond 007 N64 style) or they could do weapons that generate and drop at time intervals (like they do with heavy and special ammo now.) Good Luck if you do the Petition.

People find something that works and use it. There's a reason thorn requires you to complete an exotic bounty to get it. It's powerful, as most exotic weapons and armor are. Red death, TLW, vex, thorn, gally, etc. Just a get of the ones you see nonstop in pvp. If you can't handle it, simply take a break from pvp, then come back and push yourself. If you rage every time you get killed by a handgun, Destiny pvp is not for you, my friends. The lack of rank splitting pits you against weak and tough opponents at random. Just embrace the curve and better yourself with it!

That pile of shit gun is for those who aren't good enough to headshot anybody, so they use a gun that just shoots all over the place nonstop until something dies....just my 2 cents lol :-D And what I also find funny is how 95% of the so called "elite" players who go flawless in the ToO also all use Thorn or TLW. The 2 most bullshit guns in the game that should only be used by rookies...I wonder how many of these "elite" players are actually good players without those 2 guns?? I would be impressed to see people with the Osiris emblem taking people down with average guns to show they are actually awesome
