Right, let's get this straight. Squeakers are those little crap bags who abuse comms by keeping up a constant stream of profanity or "weeeeeeeeeoooooooooooeoeeeeeeeoeoeoeoeoeoeoeoeeeooooooo" or "lalalalalalalalllalaaaaaalllalalalalalalala" all match. They don't have to be kids, and not all kids are squeakers. Generally speaking I think 14/15 is about when I can stand playing with someone though. I find younger kids to be far less focussed on the task at hand, generally thinking that this is a "game" that is "fun" and that they can "play" at it. When it's not. It's a "challenge" which is "fun" to complete efficiently as a team which require team "work". As for girls? There are 3 in my clan of 20 something players. There are 2 who are on pretty much daily, who I play with a lot. They play just as well as anyone else and I have seen more attention seeking behaviour from guys towards them than from them towards guys. It took a while for them to come out of their shells though... I think that the way that a big group of men acts - insult heavy, would give each other dead arms if in the same room, macho posturing through anecdotes etc - can be a bit annoying for girls to try to find their way into. However I think that when the group has tried to tone this down, the girls just felt like they were being pandered to and hated that more than us being us and them figuring out how to relate to us. Obviously over the course of a few raids, especially when it is people's first raid, you soon form strong bonds in any group. I can totally understand how random groups can lead to some screwed up dynamics though. My group is a constant, we have formed and stuck to each other. I would guess that the anonymity and throwaway nature of LFG and matchmade groups triggers all sorts of nasty trolling attention seeking dick behaviours from all sorts of different people, regardless of gender or age.
